Product Development Manager for Supersmith Design Co. & 4+ years experience in Apparel PD.

•	Design, create, market and sell handcrafted custom wood furniture.
•	Source wood mills and built multiple relationships with external sales teams, which resulted in lower lumber costs and reduced over all
product cost by up to 20% within a year.
•	Included services such as in-home consulting and supplying wood and stain samples to help clients visualize how each piece of furniture
would fit within the composition of their home.
•	Research and develop new methods of construction and finish to ensure beautiful, high quality, functional furniture.

•   Manage all areas of Development/Production for Women's Outerwear, Blazers, Bottoms and Leather garments.
•   Communicate daily with mills and oversea factories regarding open issues such as fabric/production minimums, tracking samples, counter-
source fabric and trims, approve fabric & garment quality tests, confirming bulk shipment of POs.
•   Increased IMU% from 74% in Outerwear and 75% Bottoms, to 79% and 80% respectively. This was possible by negotiating discounts, analyzing external costing/internal BOMs, sourcing new factories & continually guiding design and merchants on costing requirements for
Good, Better and Best garments.
•   Continued cost savings occurred during design development and fittings when I would advise and guide CFT teams on additional costs
added due to design changes to product such as adding zippers, increasing fabric yield, adding pockets, trim, quilting, etc.
•   Moved Factory and Internal CFT team communications from hundreds of cluttered, unorganized emails into streamlined Excel charts. This
captured and organized date, reduced everyone's emails across all overseas factories and internal CFT departments, and overall improved
communication and organization.
•   Examples of the above, created or revised tools included Sample Tracking Charts, Factory WIPs, Product Change Logs and Weekly
Calendar Deliverables.
•   Manage request and approvals for l/dips, strike-offs, quilting & wash targets.
•   Source and work with trim vendors on timely and affordable development of custom zippers, buttons, draw chords, etc.
•   Supervise three Product Development Assistants in their daily tasks and help guide them through different challenges, while fostering
professional growth and expanding their technical knowledge.

Women's Product Manager

Freelance

•	Manage PD/Production for an average of 80-100 SKUs per season for Men's Bottoms and Outerwear with design and merchant team; from early line development to bulk production, ensuring target margins are met or exceeded while always ensuring on-time delivery.
•	Oversee communication with factories, mills and trim vendors pertaining to delivery of fabrics, protos, development trials and final goods
based on T&A calendar.
•	Increased Bottoms IMU% from 75% in 2013 to 80% in 2015.
•	Manage all aspects of Made in America and overseas denim production.
•	Developed new fabric qualities such as our core denim and chino qualities amounting to over 300K in savings compared to previous core
fabrics.
•	Analyze and control all cost elements and TNA components. Examples: Set fabric target prices and lead time limits for designers, confirm
fabric and garment transportation modes, calculate and negotiate costing and l/times with vendors.
•	Create, track and update TNA and WIP reports to ensure mills and factories are meeting deadlines from development to bulk shipment.
•	Develop new custom denim shanks, rivets, hangtags and labels per style.
•	Manage PO issuance and revisions for Men's Woven and Knit categories. Managed POs in both AS400 and SAP.
•	Manage the classification of US Custom tariff codes for each Woven and Knit style, ensuring each factory/mill provides correct
information in order to enter US & International Markets.

Men's PD/Production Associate Manager

•	Create formal international market research reports for U.S. apparel and textile businesses.
•	Compile Export Logistics info such as ECCN's, Tariff & Shipping Rate and Country of Origin.
