I am a seasoned Buyer with a proven track record of driving sales and growing gross margin.  I am passionate about leading change and innovation, and am looking for new challenges, both personal and professional, that will benefit my community, both local and global. Buying for up to 2,800 Kroger stores and responsible for sales, GM and turn goals.  Managed inventory, promotions, advertising and merchandising.  Oversaw Assistant Buyer and Buyer Support positions and worked to promote.  

Accomplishments:
-Grew mature Mattel Hot Wheels sales +$1.8M, +23% and +$205K in GM$ in first year.  
-Developed consolidated Movie Buying process to streamline to one office.  Drove sales of $8.3M in fiscal 
  2018.  
-Led cost of goods (COG) negotiations for all major toy vendors.  Achieved $1.2M in cost savings for fiscal 
  2018 and increased coop funding from 4% to 6% of cost receipts for Seasonal Toy category.

-Drove sales of $225M, increased sales over LY and plan for three consecutive years.  Achieved through 
  new promotions, focus on fresh assortments and impactful pricing messages.  
-Saved +$7M at cost on private label brand (Kids Korner) through shrewd negotiations, streamlining 
  fabrics and consolidating vendors.  Increased IMU% from 76.7% to 79.8% on static retail items.
