Video Content Creator

Digital & Media

Josh Crandall is the Digital Media Content Creator for the UL Firefighter Safety Research Institute. He earned his B.S. in Communication from BYU-Idaho with an emphasis in Video Production. During and shortly after attending college at BYU-Idaho, Josh was an intern and an employee for Advanced Problem Solving LLC in Los Angeles where he worked as a contractor for the Los Angeles County Fire Department producing training videos for thousands of firefighters throughout Los Angeles County. When Josh is not working he enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife Tatiana, riding motorcycles, and fixing things.

-Produce Marketing, and instructional videos from Pre Production through editing and delivery.
-Purchase and maintain video equipment for video capture of large-scale fire experiments. 
-Produce print materials for marketing.
-Film large scale fire experiments using cinema, still, drone, and action cameras and equipment.

-Meet and collaborate with clients to discuss video projects
-Direct and film video projects
-Set up and take down film equipment
-Edit footage using non-linear editing Adobe Creative Suite software programs

-Film and edit instructional training videos/drills
-Design graphics, and animate titles for all media produced
-Adapt media content to produce a clear message

Videographer

-Collaborate with project managers and designers to plan future video productions
-Schedule, meet with, and interview individuals who have been influenced by experiences relating to adoption
-Film and edit high quality content and marketing videos for Adoption.com
-Manage online database of videos for Adoption.com
-Interview and recommend interns
