Fog harvesting is an example of bio-mimicry where water is collected through condensation to provide clean water for drinking and irrigation. This position was in charge of constructing a full-scale prototype of a fog harvesting apparatus. Sited on patents and journal publications for contributions. As a teaching assistant, I advised for the Summer Industrial Design Minors studio. Focused on helping guide the students throughout the design process; from initial ideation through fabrication, as well as teaching the adobe suite software.

Working with Professor Brook Kennedy to design a solar light for developed markets. The goal is for the sales to help subsidize the cost of the solar lights that are sold to 3rd world communities that don’t have access to electricity. Nokero is participating in Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ Startup Challenge, which is “launching startups that sustainably solve the global climate change crisis.”

Conceptualized new types of connectors and geometries for a future family of products, by means of computer modeling (solidworks) and physical testing. Also aided in the design and prototyping of a future installation within Central Park.

Development of ergonomics and aesthetics of a minimally invasive surgical tool for Mitral valve repair. Also created graphics for assembly instructions and packaging design.

Extensive development, both in-line products & advanced concepts for lacrosse and ice hockey equipment,with ample prototyping (handmade, as well as 3D prints). Aided with the designs of both hard and softgoods. Worked closely with other designers, engineers, and players (during field testing & research).

Assembled bicycles for stock. Preformed tune-ups and various other repairs. Worked on sales floor to assist customers.
