I am a creative with a multi-disciplinary background, bringing experience and a keen eye, design expertise and strong collaborative skills to my work consulting in photography, storytelling and design strategy. I have a proven track record in leadership, innovation, education, collaboration, and creative ideation.

My years of field research led me to pick up my camera professionally as a documentary photographer and invest in stories as the outcome. I collaborate with brands, foundations, and nonprofits as a photographer and documentary director creating impactful and authentic branded content. 

My design experience understanding, evolving and refining brand DNA carries over into storytelling fluidly. I often work with organizations and brands to clarify and refine their story before we shift into the of documenting and communicating. This allows for the process to evolve the organization and create unique content.

Snow on the Road is the platform for my photography and storytelling, drawing from over a decade of field ethnography. I specialize in documentary photography for brand impact, telling deeply authentic and emotive stories captured from real life transporting the audience into a moment. Snow on the Road include commissions for publications, collaborations with film studios, brands, non profits and individuals, as well as artists partnerships and original works.

Documentary photographer and film director creating original content and working with brands such as Sherpa, Topo, Liv Cycles, New Balance, Sunski, Nutrient, Coalition Snow and more authentic and impactful brand content.

Directed branded content in collaboration with Windy Films for Planned Parenthood, Aetna, the Conservation Law Foundation and the *Marion Medical Mission (*solo film project)

Created documentary style mission driven content for non profits such as Paws New England, The Food Project, Marion Medical Mission, The Horse Shelter Santa Fe, Little Brook Farm and Planned Parenthood.

Contributed to publication like Entrepreneur Magazine, Sisu, and the Glossary, written pieces in Wylder, Misadventures Magazine, The New Zealand Herald, Remote Lands and Take Magazine.

Planned Parenthood short shot in Maine July-August 2018. Won the Adweek ARC award 2019, and landed Windy ongoing partnership with PPFA. Shown on Maine television, radio and online.

Worked with Product and Innovation Team at Microsoft for the exclusive Innovation Outreach Conference (IOP) 2019 on product design to enable engagement and the event itself, also invited as an innovation speaker. Invite only membership event aims to inform members and create strategic partnerships on projects between the C-Suite leaders in attendance from fortune 500 companies to enable innovation and collaboration with real and significant global impact, a big part of role as consultant was to see opportunities and support them. More than 80 fortune 500 C-Suite innovation leaders were in attendance in Dublin for IOP.

Innovation Consultant with VF Global Innovation Center

Studio Manager for the Technology Team working alongside founding Manufacture New York team, promoting & growing the organization, and driving projects in fashion and sports apparel technology integration. Work included new technology explorations, user research for integration, and design of new wearable products. Client projects developing novel technology based apparel solutions which are fashionable and truly wearable.

Studio Director and Designer, Technology Lab (Consultant)

Founding member of Apparel Innovation team, tasked with creating visionary new product and story based on the brand DNA for competitive category; after heavy r&d and design, Beacon product launched F/W 2013. Ideated, developed and early stage design of novel future projects to support Inline Apparel Team. Created the brands first “Made in the USA” apparel story, to match footwear heritage. Worked with elite athletes and military special forces, research groups and universities, on new material and future facing designs. Explored emerging technologies, markets and consumer needs; focusing 3-10 years. Worked across projects; primary research, ideation, new tech development, design, proto iteration, viability testing in sports lab, to final story output with marketing. Collaborated extensively with the four Advanced Concepts footwear teams.

Apparel Innovation Developer and Designer

Created curriculum for junior studio course in Industrial Design, “New Products for Performance Sports.”  Explored design methodology through content; design building blocks, user research, risk taking for impactful ideation, industry guests, and real world business case studies.

Associate Professor

Joined team in India to commercialize startup’s patented heating    and cooling technology. Ran user research and testing programs in India. Conducted market research on US and Asia markets, health and safety, viability for sports, health and military markets; to identify opportunities. Designed and built therapeutic prototypes. Presented product to military contractors and sports companies in India and US. Products have been commercialized as therapeutic and military wearables.
