I am originally from Seattle, Washington and moved to Orange County in 2009 to attend College, and achieve my dreams of designing in the apparel industry. I have loved making art and making outfits as long as I can remember, and for me they are one in the same. Inevitably, and much to the horror of my mother, my career goal became living in California as a designer in the apparel industry. Design is one of the strongest passions in my life, and has brought me to where I am today.  I have worked in the apparel industry for about 4 years. Currently I am a Lead Product Designer at Sunscape Eyewear in Irvine, CA. My primary task is to design new prints, color ways and bodies for accessories, as well as the packaging displays that are to a high enough standard to be carried as private label products for specific retailers. My position at Sunscape has allowed me to directly design products for Pac Sun, Urban Outfitters, Tilly's, Claire's, Zumiez, Forever 21, Nordstrom, Costco and more. I work very closely with my art director, our production team, oversees manufacturers and different accessory buyers to provide innovative and current designs. The interpersonal communication skills I have developed allow me to excel in this role.

• Designing graphics that apply to eyewear, tech accessories and soft goods
• Working directly with oversees manufacturers to develop new product bodies

• Work directly with a wide range Mass Market, Lifestyle, Surf and Skate, Junior Chain, and department store retailers.
• Design Custom Graphics According to Buyer Specifications/Concepts
• Flat Sketches Transferred to Digital Illustrations
• Retouching and manipulating photos for patterns and graphics
• Color and pattern coordination
• Trend forecasting, creating weekly trend blasts showcasing new product 
• Working directly with buyers to develop products for coming seasons
• Product Mockups and CADs
• Assisting as part of the creative team with web store development, and social media product marketing
• Assisting as part of the creative team with styling for photoshoots
