Nine Elliot, Inc - dBA Pussy & Pooch Pet Pethouse and Pawbar is an innovative and unique pet lifestyle boutique geared toward modern pets and their owners, offering distinctive, yet moderately priced high quality products, services, and everyday essentials with a focus on healthy nutrition and green living for pets. The multi-million dollar, 12,000 sq. ft. Beverly Hills location is the newest store and has been set as the flagship store. Some of my responsibilities and accomplishments included: -Creating and implementing a culture that promoted the interaction, communication and service of a small business, while balancing the size and presence of a big box retail establishment. -Increased customer count by 45% in 1st year. -Maintained and built upon customer retention by focusing staff and clients on staple products that require consistent returns -Created jobs for employees to maximize staff and store potential. -Increased the average daily sale per customer by 29% within 1st year. -Created new hire training materials which lead to stronger employee retention. -Created employee incentive program that increased cross-department sales, and better staff synergy. -Served as IT software liaison during Point of Sale troubleshooting, leading to easier/smoother transactions and communication from store to store -Completed all aspects of Web Orders: contacted clients with any problems/concerns, provided answers, solutions and options for anything out of stock, and made sure all orders were either hand delivered or shipped in a timely manner.

Located on 2nd Street (home to more than 250 businesses) in the historic Belmont Shore area of Long Beach, this Pussy & Pooch location was the second store to open - catering to the very large dog community in Long Beach. As Store Manager, some of my responsibilities and achievements are as follows: -Increased sales by 12% within first 2 months of being transferred. -Increased the average sale per customer by 10%. -Reached the highest store sales records each year while under my management. -Increased net sales during years of management by 17%. -Promoted Assistant Manager to Manager position, whom then lead that team to increasing overall sales by an additional 10% to finish the year.
