Senior Designer - Men's Outerwear, Knits and Sweaters

Hello! My name is Kevin Dopp. My passion is creating an innovative, top quality product that meets the ever-changing fashion and function needs of the consumer. My path as a designer has taken me from NYC to Wisconsin and from the snow sports industry to the apparel industry. In my free time I celebrate life's adventures with my family. My hobbies include running marathons, skiing and snowboarding, rock climbing, as well as riding and rebuilding motorcycles.

- Manage a $65M business, up on average 30% to LY and a team of six with two direct reports; report directly to the VP of Men's Design
- Credited for taking the outerwear business from $12M to $20M in 3 years, revamped the Squall franchise including a system that works across multiple franchises - revamped Expedition franchise as well as adding $900k in incremental business via the addition of the "Puffer"
- Responsible for driving innovation within the Outerwear category to include 2.5L, 3L, stretch, 800 down and recycled materials while improving IMU year over year
- Style the line and connect key messaging for each season across men's women's kids and home divisions- key focus on optimistic color and product personalization
- Manage product design for high profile collaborations such as The Weather Channel and other to be announced
- Drive innovation through counter seasonal development
- Work on cross functional team to align outerwear features, materials and styling across the brand
- Developed a cohesive trim story for Lands' End that is used throughout the brand
- Travel throughout Asia on development trips, as well as throughout Europe and domestically for inspiration that is shared back with the design team
- Attend relevant trade shows to bring innovation and newness to the brand.

Men's Outerwear
Designed a broad range of cotton, synthetic and leather outerwear for the Blue Label brand. Researched and developed high concept garments based on inspirational rigs. Gathered extensive vintage and historical research used throughout the design process. Built close relationships with vintage dealers throughout the US and abroad.  Traveled both domestically and to Asia for development and research. Worked on domestic outerwear production for the Sochi Olympic uniform.

Senior Designer Blue Label

All categories
Responsible for developing initial concepts, color, and print direction. Thoroughly researched trends and market competition, sourced / developed all raw materials for each style [fabric, trims, hardware]. Designed a cohesive outerwear, apparel and cold weather accessories line. Managed a team of 3 designers. Collaborated with athletes on signature designs.

Senior Designer

Worked with Design Director's to bring externally designed outerwear to life. Developed a supporting line of apparel and cold weather accessories for both men and women. Based in Burton's new York office with frequent travel to the Vermont headquarters.
