As Associate Designer, I assist in all stages of contemporary apparel garments from concept to production. Responsible for creative designing for multiple brand lines while keeping in mind the directions given by senior designer and merchandising/sales teams. -Detailed sketching and creating line guides. -Preform research for latest fashion trends by shopping, attending fashionable events, pinterest, instagram, blogs, etc. -Fittings with tech designers and production. -Work closely with vendors and maintain ETAs of protos. -Create and send-out detailed Tech Packs based on Calendar. -Work closely with In-House pattern makers. -Create and enter style names into Product Console.

Assisted in all stages of Junior apparel garments including: -Detailed flat sketching and creating line-sheets. -Worked closely with pattern makers, cutters, sewers, dye and novelty houses. -Preformed research for latest fashion trends. -Sourced/developed fabrics and trims with domestic/import vendors while maintaining ETAs and costs. -Traveled to China to work with China Teams, Vendors, and Fabric Mills. -Fittings with tech designers and production. -Attended line reviews with merchandiser and sales teams. -Entered all styles and BOMs in PLM software program. -Managed prints by coloring/assorting/sending on appropriate fabrics/yardage/application of print.
