I coach patients on how to eat better and overall live a healthier life. I am also responsible for managing the company's social media accounts (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram), creating and sending the company newsletter, creating some basic promotional documents using Adobe InDesign and planning patient and local events.

I was responsible for marketing Asheville as a desirable meeting destination to meeting planners in outside cities. My job involved not only basic sales work but a lot of creative thinking with my fellow sales team on how to best increase our market share. Coming up with event ideas, tradeshow booth themes, mailers and customized client gifts. Working for a destination marketing organization taught me the importance of branding and, when done well, it can really bring a business to a different level.

I assisted in the development of the annual Marketing/Media plan for the destination marketing organization. I sold print ad space, banner ads & coordinating materials to support incoming revenue and overall budget. I was also responsible for researching and implementing various marketing strategies.
