Kristine Ambrose Creative
Creative Director | 01/2002 - Current
Providing presentations and pitch materials to agencies and brands; telling brand stories though design and photography.
• For a creative agency whose PR-firm client was handling the rebranding of a major shopping destination, assembled PowerPoint deck exhibiting market-research findings and underscoring their relationship to new brand identity; surmounted hurdles related to the bicoastal, multiparty nature of the project and brand equities yet to be finalized; delivered fashion-forward 60-slide deck bringing the data and the brand to life.
• Collaborated on photographic narrative evoking anti-bullying message of feature film “Love Is All You Need,” starring Emily Osment and Blake Cooper Griffin; developed story in tandem with actors/photographic subjects, created storyboards, enhanced lighting to define “plot points,” shot pictures, and chose selects for traditional and social media campaigns.
• Promoting actor Jay Huguley’s work in “12 Years a Slave” and “True Detective,” shot and arranged pictures to tell a story influenced by his characters but suffused with his own spirit; used vintage wardrobe and grain of black-and-white film to intimate movie’s 19th-century setting; set up at location with gnarled trees suggesting those of series’ title sequence, capturing the “scene” in digital color; images were widely reproduced.
Lieberman Research Worldwide
Graphic Designer | 08/2013 - Current
Lending visual impact to client and internal materials, including market-research presentations and new-business proposals, for Fortune 500 companies.
• Collaborating with research teams throughout the U.S. and in China and the U.K.
• Drove home findings about the importance of caregivers in managing medication for seniors, combining photography, charting and infographics in a 100-slide presentation that came in under budget; layered charts to compare findings; offset limitations of stock photos with effects (blur, cropping, cloning) to make images pop.
• Helped retain account with a presentation mapping the story of the client’s relationship with Lieberman; used infographics to unite data and illustrations of gas stations, pumps and piping, with flags atop oilrigs representing the 26 countries in which Lieberman has conducted research and prepared data analytics for client.
• Showcased Lieberman insight on the challenges facing homeowners throughout the purchasing process; overcame constraints of receiving data one chapter at a time from a research team on the road; observed mandate to keep the presentation upbeat without invalidating the emotional response to buying a new home and moving out of an old one. Client used report to brief employees on forthcoming marketing, promotion and product-development efforts.
