Hi, I'm Kristy and I'm a graphic designer. Many of the projects I’ve completed have included working as part of a team, working with other departments, meeting various deadlines, and working in fast paced environments. Some tasks that were included in these projects were: preliminary research of the topic, mood boards, sketches, color studies, type studies, logos, trend research, product development, and the development of corporate identity. I work well as part of a group or individually and believe deadlines and time management are crucial for success. Apparel design has always been my main focus of interest. Most recently, I worked as an in-line graphic designer for Fanatics as part of the MLB: Nike Brands team. I assisted in launching the Fanatics MLB/Nike partnership by creating cutting edge sportswear designs that were unveiled to the public for the 2020 season. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of design even further and continuing to excel in my artwork.

Create on-trend, original designs for college and resort apparel; Set up concept approval sheets; Set up design templates for easy conversion; Create production files.

Assisted in launching the Fanatics MLB / Nike partnership by creating cutting edge sportswear designs for the in-line fan gear pieces; Assist in research and development for new graphic concepts, techniques, trims, and applications; Build master design templates in a new and more efficient way for production artists; Request and review physical samples for accuracy; Assist in creating design briefs for future launches.  
   

In-line Graphic Designer, MLB: Nike Brands

Set up artwork for client approval; Digitize Appliqué/embroidery art work; Create and digitize samples for Licensing, Barnes & Noble, Follett, Salesman Samples, etc; Design new template art for the entire women’s applique fleece line for college and resort accounts; Assist in designing new template art for the men’s applique fleece line and screen printed garments; Assist in new appliqué/embroidery technique development; Create sewn patches for promo bookstore chairs; Set up design squares and photoshop images for catalogs; Design League promotional pieces such as award cards, coupon vouchers, and the company logo. I have knowledge of screen print and appliqué/embroidery processes, color separations, and the ability to set up production ready files for both departments.

I was also a temp artist at League from April 2013-August 2013.
