Brammo Inc.
Brammo Empulse Production Team Lead | 06/2012 - 11/2014
• As the Brammo Empulse Motorcycle Production Team Supervisor I was responsible for organizing, training, and managing the motorcycle production team making sure these highly valued resources were utilized to their full potential. Maintaining professional as well as personal relationships with the production team was not only important for efficient productivity but also improved the overall workplace atmosphere and moral. Where quality standards have to come above all else with such a liability laden product it was important that each contributing member of my team put forth their best effort and were trained and placed along the production line so that their strengths could be fully realized. Recognizing a person’s strengths and figuring out how to capitalize on this to achieve production goals ensured that we never missed a shipping deadline and that each motorcycle produced met stringent quality standards. Other duties included conducting performance reviews, forecast scheduling, work instruction creation, continual improvement meetings and review of department indices. Also attached is a letter of recommendation from the Brammo Inc. Director of Operations.
Bike Barn Motorcycle, LLC
Owner | 10/2005 - 10/2011
• Six of my 20+ years of sales experience comes from owning and operation Bike Barn Motorcycles, LLC in Southern Oregon. As the business owner I covered all aspects of the dealership’s operations. From managing employee’s day-to-day retail and service operations I also maintained flooring plans, finance and insurance sales, manufacturer requirements, dealer portals and warranty, on-line sales, and organized trade events. As a business owner of a small motorcycle dealership that specialized in high-end brands I was not only rebuilding high-revving V-twin Aprilia motors but also mopping floors and dusting shelves. I loved setting up Demo Days to ride the latest offerings from Husaberg, Husqvarna and Aprilia. Bike Barn always sponsored local events and is the main reason why Husaberg was so popular in Southern Oregon.
Bulldog Caster Co., Inc.
Western Region Sales Manager | 11/1990 - 05/2004
• The bulk of my 20+ years of sales experience comes from Bulldog Caster Co., Inc. As the Western Region Sales Manager my territory included anything west of the Mississippi River. I performed cold call sales as well as regular, frequent “in-the-field” trips to connect with potential as well as established customers. From Chicago to Chula Vista and everywhere in between I would visit existing and potential customers always building and maintaining a large customer base. Twice a year trade shows kept Bulldog Caster Co., Inc. at top of mind awareness. Working with suppliers in China and Taiwan my sales counterparts and I not only sold casters and wheels but we also had the opportunity to expand our product line to include other areas of industrial wholesale. I helped develop products for companies like Waste Management Inc. and most recently Traffix Devices. Being closely involved with product development and the client/supplier relationship allowed Bulldog Caster Co., Inc. to expand from a small garage operation to a 10,000 square foot facility with more than 10 employees and a vast, successful product line that is still going strong to this day, now known as Caster Ranch.
