Creative & Design

Lana Limón is an accomplished, published graphic designer and production artist with significant experience in corporate and media sectors. In addition, she manages international projects from concept to completion, and is an international photographer with an expansive print and digital portfolio.

Currently, Lana is the 5th woman to work at MAD Magazine in a creative capacity. Last year she was honored to have her work displayed at the Department of the Interior Museum in Washington D.C. with the Creative Action Network's "See America" campaign, and provide design prowess for the upcoming film "Geezer". 

Lana's extensive range of accumulated expertise empowers her to embrace new opportunities and challenges.

MAD Highlights:
• Visited Alfred E. Smith Career and Technical Education High School (Bronx) as a guest speaker. Prepared an hour-long presentation for 9th grade graphic design students covering the arc of production, from script to print. 
• Redesigned Tim Carvell’s recurring feature “Planet Tad”.
• Photographed images for various MAD parody articles: "A Minor League Baseball Flyer That Tells It Like It Is" MAD #528, and the iPad Parody Ad MAD #529.
• Organized MAD Storage Room.

Production Artist

Management
Manage communication among ~110 galleries, UNTITLED staff, and head designer to organize elements for implementation within the catalogue and overall fair. Supply third parties with various UNTITLED design files for advertisements and web/print implementation. Manage overall design department production schedule and advertisement deadlines. 


Design
Design various email blasts for dissemination, working with UNTITLED and Blue Media staffs. Redesign client-supplied PowerPoint presentation to reflect newly redesigned feel of the UNTITLED. art fair. Create editable Adobe exhibitor manual/information submission form for dissemination to ~110 galleries. Organize and design website pages for web developer implementation. Design various elements for exhibition, such as labeling stickers, entry badges, floor plan from CAD file, business cards, press kits, and advertisements for third party periodicals.

NYC Street Wear Photographer

Operated as department of one. Managed insurance brokerage teams in project process and served as organizational administrator. Developed standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline mandated corporate guidelines and emphasize teamwork to generate a cohesive branding image.

Designed and maintained any and all brand identity marketing materials for AJGRMS NY such as RFPs, client-tailored reports, brochures, market fact sheets, newsletters, invitations, PowerPoint presentations, auto emergency cards, infographics, etc. for colleagues and clients company-wide. 

Additional Responsibilities: Served as Social Media and Marketing Manager by maintaining AJGRMS NY groups on SalesForce Chatter and creating e-mail newsletter blasts to clients and prospects via Constant Contact and SilverPop. Photographed ~100 professional headshots for all NYC and some corporate employees. Pitched idea to retake photos and after approval researched equipment to purchase within budget, created sign-up time

Created presentations including but not limited to mock-ups, flip books, boards, and PowerPoint for clients such as Ford, AT&T, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harrah's, National Parks Foundation, Merrill Lynch Advisor, Unilever, and NYSE.
