I worked side-by-side with the college’s Event Coordinator, Marketing Director and Communications Director to publicize and promote events to students. While directing all of TSP’s marketing efforts, ?I succeeded in coordinating many tasks with varying deadlines. I created and designed all the content for TeamSurfPeru.com. I traveled to surf competitions to promote the company and managed online marketing campaigns simultaneously. I also developed and launched “Surf Camp Peru” in order to combat the seasonal demand issues faced by TSP (large ocean swells become less frequent in the Peruvian summer months causing demand for surf trip packages to decrease). My efforts have expanded brand awareness and helped to shape Team Surf Peru’s current marketing strategy.

I also updated and controlled all social media accounts, frequently supplying quality appropriate content.
Moosejaw
Marketing Plan Team Member | 01/2013 - 05/2013
As part of a student team, I created a comprehensive marketing plan for Moosejaw. The marketing plan details research on social media and its presence not just in the outdoor recreational industry, but also encompassing current trends and innovations as a whole. We measured, compared and cited engagement among competitors, followed by a recommendation for Moosejaw’s continued engagement. This recommendation included a Moosejaw “athlete of the month” that is chosen through a video contest. SWOT, industry analysis and market research of competitor strategies supported recommended actions. For implementation we created timetables as well as budgets for Moosejaw’s marketing department.
