I have always been apart of the action sports scene as a kid growing up in the 80's thru today. Now that I have kid's of my own that are so apart of the Southern California Lifestyle.  I want to expand my resume into this area, since I have the necessary Professional Skills as a Chemist/Biologist and Full Time Surf Dad.

Analytical Chemist in a contract Nutraceautical Lab performing Wet Chemistry/UV-Vis experiments following GDP guidelines for FDA regulated label verification for the Vitamin and Supplement industry. Installed and helped implement GC technologies from Agilent. Other duties included writing and reviewing new SOP’s for ISO 17025 certification.

Worked as an Organic Analytical chemist running EPA 8260 for soil, water, and air analysis.

Analyst

Organic Chemist - Organic Chemist for EPA method 502 THM (GC), 515 (GC), 524 (GC/MS), 525 (GC/MS), 552 (GC/ECD), 625 (GC/MS), 8270M (GC/MS), & 8015B (GC/FID) in Organics lab running Agilent 5890,6890 MS (5971, 5972, 5973), Varian GC/MS, and other GC technologies.  Process data, first-level reviewer of completed projects and extractions.  Other duties include management of gas supply, ordering, EH&S safety committee and contact for the Organics lab.

Organic Chemist

MIP Technician for an environmental field services company for the West Region. 
I ran a mobile lab for the investigation of chemical plumes underground using
MIP and GC technology. Environmental Field Technician for advanced site
characterization technology (MIP) for soil and groundwater
in-situ remediation studies. Other duties included maintaining mobile lab,
40 Hour OSHA trained, proposal and report writing, EH&S site supervisor.
Territories covered for West Coast and Rocky Mountain Region offices.

MIP Technician

Senior Research Tech that focused on using high-throughput DNA fingerprinting technologies of Bacterial Artificial Chromosomes for physical mapping of genomic regions of many plant species, prepared solutions for DNA prep, performed restriction digestions and gel electrophoresis, used image equipment for gels and distinguished data, prepared DNA using established protocols, high thru-put handling of BAC and EST bacterial libraries, operated various types of equipment like Tomtec Quadra 96, completed data reports, maintained biohazard waste disposal, cleaned and maintained laboratory equipment.

Senior Research Technician

Senior Sales and Marketing Executive for an environmental analytical laboratory for drinking water, wastewater and hazardous waste samples for federal, state and local compliance.  My sales territory included Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado and Texas.  Acted as corporate liaison and project manager between environmental consulting firms and other laboratories to insure a high level of customer service and project completion.

Senior Sales and Marketing Executive

Worked for a VAR (Value Added Reseller) that provided a complete product line of wireless data collection solutions for warehouse and retail applications.  Main duties included selling into a protected territory, worked closely with clients and technical staff to create wireless data collection solutions provides sales support for Telxon, Symbol, Aironet, and IBM product line, and close sales.

Account Executive

Worked in documenting and reporting department.  Duties included creating master sheets for samples received, enter data for and from laboratory projects, proof tables and documents, read chromatograms and enter data into database, revise analytical procedures, compile data into final reports for clients.  Support staff for backing up network server and individual PC systems.  Principal archive personnel for hardcopy and computer data of completed bio-studies.

Scientific Report Technician

Worked in wet chemistry laboratory performing BOD, CBOD, TSS, TS, and O&G (oil & grease) tests on waste water samples.  Worked in the field collecting waste water treatment plant samples, washing and sterilizing of equipment and collection bottles used in the lab and field.
