Obtained my bachelors of science at the University of Central Florida in psychology.

I have a strong background in nonprofit work having interned for Feeding Children Everywhere and the Make A Wish Foundation. While working as Communications Intern for Feeding Children Everywhere I was responsible for social media content, producing press releases, creating fundraising sites and working large corporate events. As the primary Programs Intern for the Make A Wish Central Office I was responsible for aiding the Wish Granters, making travel arrangements, organizing wishes, working fundraising events and keeping detailed financial records. 

In addition to this experience I also have a strong background in sales having worked in several retail settings including surf shops, vintage retail and for large corporations. I feel confident in my abilities to handle money, manage groups of people, work with diverse groups of people and in marketing. My future plans include working with individuals, groups and organizations using my degree and life experiences to improve my community. Eventually, I would like to start my own nonprofit foundation benefiting marine conservation.

I grew up in St. Petersburg, FL where I worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor. While attending the University of Central Florida I became infatuated with the surf culture and spent most of my time at Cocoa Beach. I studied abroad in Valencia, Spain and had the opportunity to study Spanish immerse myself in the Spanish culture and travel throughout Europe. I most recently lived in Boulder, CO where I was able to experience some of the worlds best hiking, skiing, rafting and camping. 


Store key holder responsible for opening and closing facility and registers. Maintained daily sales and inventory record. Duties included sales, maintenance and creating clothing displays.

Sales Associate 

Assisted Wish coordinators in organizing and planning dreams-of-a-lifetime for children. Supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation mission through organizational tasks for the office, booked itineraries, provided computer support and phone duties. Worked on location at Make-A-Wish fundraising events

Programs Intern 

Responsibilities included daily rotations at lifeguarding stations, monitoring and administering swim lessons including Special Olympic practices, facility maintenance and creating lesson plans. 

Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor 

Management of the organization’s social media including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and website. Tasked with sending corporate emails and press releases. Traveled in the U.S. to host Hunger Projects mobilizing and interacting with hundreds of volunteers.

Communications Intern 

Assisted customers with sales with strong emphasis in customer service. Opened and closed store. Worked on store website and assisted with marketing and photoshoots. Assisted store owner with buying decisions.
