• Responsible for creating and maintaining a detailed calendar for product development and design from inspiration stage to final sample product • Communicate with cross functional teams through all phases of development and manage expectations with excellent detail, follow up, and professionalism • Responsible for ensuring the business strategy of the collection is considered during the seasonal development cycle through weekly touchpoints with cross functional team members on development status • Partner with design to ensure samples are executed according to design specifications and also in accordance with the overall brand vision and timeline • Work closely with the raw materials buying team to allocate sample yardage and trims needed for multiple sample sets • Develop, order, track, and organize all season specific trims; create seasonal trim board • Utilize fabric and trim WIP report to strategically manage the development timeline and workload through the sample room • Work with pre-production and production teams to analyze preliminary costs and provide options to ensure margin goals are attainable • Partner with production and tech teams to allocate styles based on mill/vendor capabilities, pricing, and timeline. • Oversee data on line sheets to ensure integrity and accuracy of information • Collaborate with sales team on seasonal exclusive development, pricing, and deliverables • Set up initial tech packs with style, fabric, and trim information
