Having used proven marketing methods to increase brand awareness and increase brand visibility in the marketplace, I feel I am a qualified candidate for a company seeking a marketing specialist. 

I have also leveraged contacts in the media by providing them with great story opportunities for them which resulted in coverage from both national and local media of specific stories. ESPN, ABC, NBC, the Orange County Register, The Los Angeles Times are among the news outlets that I have worked with. 

Additionally, I have managed all media needs of local and national outlets and have successfully pitched stories to them that have been covered. I have also managed a portfolio of all the media coverage we received as a result of the efforts above along with a weekly newsletter that was distributed to all of our stakeholders. 

While in the marketing and communications manager position at Orange Lutheran High School maximized our social media presence by increasing our audience over 700% in just over a year’s time through the implementation and execution of strategies and trainings that resulted in our success. 



This was my second stint at the school after working there from May 2009 through June 2011. 

•	Responsible for all external marketing content including: social media, website updates, media requests, and marketing functions.
•	Created and implemented an extensive school wide social media policy. 
•	Created weekly content stories for school website including: feature stories, alumni spotlights, celebration pieces, and more.
•	Responsible for delivering all school messages to reflect the school’s mission and core values.

Marketing and Communications Manager

•   Responsible for the implementation of key organizational strategies in accord with LPA’s   
    mission and vision. 
•   Developed customer relations procedures that supported purchases designed to meet 
     client’s needs.
•   Assisted in sales and marketing departments to meet and exceed the company goals by 
     suggesting strategies that resulted in increased sales over a 14 month period. 
•   Worked directly with clients to find solutions to academic needs of students.

Client Solutions Manager

•	Responsible for maintaining all budgets at both local and regional levels.
•      Responsible for securing sponsorships for local teams as well as events.
•	Coordinated all aspects of championships, tournaments, competitions, scrimmages, and   
        leagues.
•	Served as the Public Relations Manager by overseeing all materials including newsletters, 
        press releases, website updates, and more.
•	Responsible for growing stagnant school-based programs by over 30 percent. 
•      Responsible for recruiting, training, assigning coaching staffs for all sports.

Regional Sports Manager

•	Assisted in generating extensive media coverage in the country’s #2 media market.
•       Led team in landing largest sponsorship(s) deal in league – 3 years, $150,00.
•	Created, organized, implemented entire ticket sales programs including various season 
        ticket packages, mini-plans, group sales, and sponsorships.
•	Oversaw sales staff of five, which accounted for over $100,000 in ticket sales for 
        inaugural season.
•      Managed the game day staff of over forty employees in all areas including Guest Services.
•      Assisted in the creation and management of school-based reading program.
