I'm a recent graduate with a BA in Graphic design and a BA in Organizational and Corporate Communication. I was born and raised in Texas, but I'm making the transition to advance my career in Los Angeles. I have experience designing for print and web. Projects I have worked on include packaging, catalogs, brochures, posters, logo & identity, web graphics and stationery. I also have experience with PR, social media, APA writing and Journalism, media relations, press releases and a bit of marketing.

I have a passion for communication and solving problems. I have the education, dedication and the drive to learn and excel in a creative team and as an individual. I am also a versatile designer that can take direction well and create something clean and crisp or wild and fun. I'm always open to new ideas and I'm ready to tackle challenges.

• Worked alongside a creative team and took direction from the Art Director and Creative Director to provide clients with an exceptional finished product.

• Assisted with various projects and created work for various clients such as logos, advertisements for print and web, web banners, illustration projects, presentation templates and more.

• Created, designed and exported files for both print and digital projects.

• Managed multiple projects and remained flexible through multiple revisions while still paying attention to detail.

• Utilized and created mock-ups as needed for projects.

• Used graphic standard guides to ensure that the clients logo was being used correctly and that all branding guides were being met properly. Brand colors, fonts used, clear space, etc.

• Conceptualization and design of promotional literature and advertisements.

• Hi-res photo manipulation / retouching / editing.

• Worked with the Director of Resourcing to ensure that projects were the correct size, had the correct copy, etc.

Graphic Design Intern

• Maintained social media, mostly facebook, for various clients and created graphics for digital Display. 

• Wrote short and engaging copy to accompany social media photos/updates.

• Designed flyers and other graphic content as needed for clients.

• Assisted models during photo shoots and helped set up and prepare for the actual shoot.

• Found stock photography as needed

Social Media and Graphic Design Intern

• Created a variety of design projects for the University Technology Support Center. Work ranged from designing flyers, email bulletins, t-shirts, large scale prints and web graphics.

• Created content for print and web and finalized artwork for print or digital use.

• Assisted with motion graphics and voice over recordings for videos. 

* Used After Effects to create simple motion graphics for digital bumps.

• Instructed and led weekly workshops for UTEP students about Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.

Graphic Designer

• Worked closely with city stakeholders and media to maintain a positive relationship between the URG organization and the public.

• Created press releases and public service announcements.

• Monitored and updated the URG social media accounts and organization website, as well as creating graphics for the accounts.

• Worked closely with the URG Chief Executive Officer to execute speaking points for interviews. 

• Designed and wrote weekly email newsletters to board members, stakeholders, staff and media regarding the standing of the organization and providing them with updates and job openings.

• Designed graphics and flyers for various job fairs for pre-promotional purposes, as well as graphics and signage that were displayed during the events to enforce the URG brand.

• Utilized Constant Contact to assist with email marketing
