Award-winning communications professional with extensive background in public
relations, tourism relations, business and legal writing, photography and sports
journalism for print and on-line publications. Expertise includes writing, editing and
research, along with a great thirst for learning and knowledge. Also, highly organized
and is able to multi-task in fast-paced team environment, while also working well
independently. Away from work, I am passionate about the communities I live in and
serve.

Responsible for all branding efforts and communications set forth by the Diocese.
Work with, and support, all departments within the Chancery (Diocesan
headquarters). Executive Editor of the Diocesan newspaper -- The Valley Catholic.
• Oversee a staff of four.
• In charge of publishing 19 editions of the newspaper per year.
• Responsible for the newspaper and department budgets.
• Responsible for all advertising done by the Diocese of San Jose.

Responsible for all social media and public relations efforts for Visit Tri-Valley - the official destination marketing agency for the Town of Danville and the cities of
Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon.

•   Developed & implemented public relations strategies for various Visit Tri-
Valley sales and marketing campaigns.
•   Developed and implemented story list for 34-page US Airways Magazine
insert (February 2014).
•   Developed and implemented story list for 2013 Visit Tri-Valley Official Visitors
Guide.
•   Coordinated the development and implementation of the 2014 Visit Tri-Valley
Official Visitors Guide.
•   Coordinated the hiring of photographers and updating of photo library.
