Spin Instructor & Manager

Education & Training

SPIN INSTRUCTOR:
- Lead classes: combining music and cardio for an energetic indoor cycling class that is completely out of the saddle and on beat.  
- Developed a new class that combines 30 minutes of  spin followed by 30 minutes of a core workout.

MANAGER: 
- Manage day to day tasks, schedules, instructors, front desk duties and customer service
- Occasionally manage Fixed Gear’s social marketing via emails, Instagram and Facebook page.  Includes creating original posts/emails from scratch, photographing interesting and related photos and researching fixed gear, spin, gym, bike and cycling photos.

As part of the bid team for IOS' marketing department, I manage the bids from start to finish.  My responsibilities include graphic design for the bid marketing packages (right brain), proposal pricing/budgetary summaries, working with the designers to create cutsheets, requesting vendor quotes for ancillary items and organizing all aspects required by the RFQ's (left brain).  In addition, I help create company/team building events such as a Laguna Beach Scavenger Hunt & the Newport Beach Scavenger Hunt, invites for events and graphic design for client tours (handouts/booklets, name tags, signage, screen covers, etc.)

Strategic Respone Specialist

- Receive and process shipments/stock received from the warehouse. Includes: unpacking, counting, folding, pulling a size run to place on the floor and placing overflow stock in the back storage areas.
- Assist in preparing the store for the day.  Includes: organizing and replenishing merchandise by color, size, and quantity requirements.
- Process and ship damages, markdowns, sensors and send sales.
- Manage all markdowns and consolidations.
- Complete special projects as required.

Expediter

Manage the coordination of all marketing, product and legal physical mailings in a cost effective and timely delivery. In addition, data processing, print coordination and fulfillment have been added to my job responsibilities.
-Modernized the print and mail processes for all physical mailings to complete below budget.
- Created a comprehensive process for the legally required Annual Consumer Privacy Notice Mailings to all policyholders.
- Developed an auditing process to legally verify the delivery of the Annual Consumer Privacy Notices. 
- Developed a Business Requirement Document for the data retrieval of all policyholders on 8 systems with different specifications.
- Internally prepare data files for all marketing Responsys Email Campaigns to cut costs.
- Run post-Responsys Email Campaign reports to gauge the success of each campaign.
- Co-developed iProject, an internal marketing program that tracks the life of all marketing pieces for better use of time management.
- Coordinate the printing of all product applications, forms and packs in time for product updates/launches.
- Fulfill MetLife Resource orders for the life channel.

Sr Production Coordinator

Directed the graphic design, marketing, operations and sales areas.  
- Created the company identity: logo and working papers.
- Designed desktops for new clients and maintained the desktops of existing/published clients.
- Online research for prospective clients.
- Implemented the business operating plan.

Associate Creative Director & Operations Manager

Supported the Actuarial Department so they can make swift and effective decisions about the viability of current and developing fixed and variable annuity products.  Also managed the creation of all applications and forms. 
- Developed and analyzed a series of sales, feature utilization, achievable rate, internal exchange and commission reports for the actuary, product development and operations departments to make product decisions. 
- Wrote business specifications with IT and transitions rules with Operations for programming purposes.
- Managed all rate setting reports, rate conference calls and rate notice communications.
- Created, tracked and maintained all product applications, forms and packs to update on two different portals and the fulfillment house.

Actuarial Technician

Provided legal and compliant solutions to exception cases and problem resolution involving pending and existing variable and fixed annuity contracts.
- Coordinated efforts with multiple departments (Legal, Compliance, Actuary, Product, Account Management and?Sales) and Service Centers (located in Des Moines, IA and Hartford, CT) to provide quick resolutions in time sensitive cases.
- Prepared monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and?annual Exception statistical and large case reports.

Operations Analyst

Provided full-service graphic design in an eclectic studio.
- Conceptualized, created and?produced custom pieces per clients wants and needs.  Included custom invitations, announcements, stationery and holiday cards.
- Creating company identity and marketing pieces for corporate clients.  Included designing logos, business cards, working papers, brochures, ads, trade show invitations and packaging.
