I am a southern California native with a creative soul and passion for events. I started my own wedding company to encourage me to stay creative throughout the job hunt process post college. I currently am a catering coordinator for the Pacific Palms Resort and I plan weddings on the side. While the organization and timeline line building comes easy to me, I crave to work for a more active/creative company.
 
My experience reflects a lot of hospitality. Hospitality skills run parallel with event planning , managing and customer service positions. I have the ability to work with fellow creative minds and I excel in time management, communication and Microsoft Office. I also have a lot of experience in sports management. 

My goal would be to transition out of the hotel field and into a corporate company in the action sports world that is team oriented. 
 


•	Participate in the placing of decor and table settings
•	Work with coordinator and other assistants to achieve the couples vision
•	Collaborate with vendors to ensure all areas are covered
•	Managing the set up of the ceremony and reception areas
•	Assist Guests and escorting the wedding party

•	Host and entertain clients, conduct property tours, draft contracts and promote facilities and services
•	Create accounts, block meeting space, book events and create BEO’s in Delphi
•	Schedule and attend cross- functional department meetings to ensure event alignment. 
•	Communicate and partner with all departments to provide direction and supervision to execute catering events
•	Generate contracts and banquet event orders and support daily distribution of BEO's, reader boards and change logs
•	Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
•	Produce monthly Pace Reports and MTD Reports via Market Vision

Catering Coordinator

•	Communicate, manage and work with suppliers, contractors, wait staff and all vendors
•	Set up all décor to accurately make the visual impact the couple is looking for
•	Quickly solve any issue that is required day of event
•	Create and review vendor contracts
•	Organize the clients wedding day timeline

CEO/Owner

•	Transcribe, type and compose BEO’s. Maintain a system for future and past event documents. Schedule and coordinate meetings hosted by corporate clients.
•	Provide on sight tours for future clients and build contracts for wedding blocks, sporting teams and corporate clients. 
•	Manage the set up and take down of all meeting rooms for corporate accounts. 
•	Build contracts for wedding blocks, sport teams and corporate clients. 
•	Work closely with the Vellano Country Club as their preferred vendor for all bridal parties and guests. 
•	Manage the hotel “ Social Hour “ Monday –Thursday.

Sales Coordinator

•	Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, confirmations, room need requests
•	Maintain knowledge of current resort events, activities, hours of operation as well as
dining options currently available.
•	Greet guests warmly and perform registration procedures.
•	Provide guests with appropriate room assignments, room keys, directions to the rooms,
while up-selling when appropriate.
•	Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction.
•	Facilitate guest departures providing accurate statements and ensuring guest satisfaction

Front Desk Again

I worked closely with the Manager of Special Events to help coordinate event guest lists, procure in-kind goods and services, coordinate event supplies and delivery, manage post-event acknowledgements, and manage relationships with select vendors and donors.

Special Events Intern

•Worked individually and as a team to create, produce and share responsibility for many events?
•Organized a staff of five, made weekly schedules and ensured all five staff members had two events planned, marketed and stayed within budget every month. 
?•Made frequent runs to Costco to ensure food was always stalked and available for students.?
•Planned a school wide carnival for over 500 students and faculty. Had the most attendance any carnival had ever had at Menlo College.

Student Union Supervisor/Event Coordinator

VIP AREA: Ordered food/drink and set up for display and distribution and worked within a strict budget. Set up and managed system to control access to VIP area. Developed and implemented theme for the area and organized staff and volunteers to assist during the two-day event. We had a little over 300 people come through our area each year I was involved.??HALL OF FAME: Assisted with Mt. SAC Relays annual Hall of Fame Induction. Coordinated invitations, RSVP’s, table decorations and seating charts, awards presentation and delivery, worked with venue staff

VIP Hospitality Tent Coordinator / Hall or Fame

•Hosted and organized citywide events and camps, managed the front desk?
•Ensured that all questions about the city and or city actives can be answered and flowed smoothly and efficiently?
•Participated in planning meetings for all major city events. ( summer camps, family festival, halloween, snow day, fourth of july , working senior center events ,youth basketball and men's basketball
