VP- Sales, Marketing & Customer Care

Marketing & Sales

I am an executive with extensive Global experience in professional sales, marketing, innovations and executive-level management who has worked with marketing leading companies - 3M Company, MSD Performance and Gold Eagle Company. Responsibilities include strategy development, sales, marketing, customer service, innovation, and personnel training.

Responsible for the development of all sales, marketing, customer care and business development activities. This includes the strategic identification and partnerships of companies that are focused on the golf and travel industry. This is a consulting role that reports directly to the President/CEO.

Accountable for the overall strategic and executional vision and implementation of all MSD and Racepak brands, Customer Care, Tech Service and Sales/Marketing Team functions. Complete annual strategic planning responsibility for sales, lifestyle marketing, customer and technical service department budgets. 10 direct reports; 40 in-direct reports and 5 Rep Agencies. Report directly to President.

VP- Marketing & Sales

Responsible for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Management and launch of two new start-up businesses serving the Law Enforcement and Military/Defense markets. Responsibilities include a comprehensive creation, development and implementation of a go-to-market strategy for these businesses. Three direct reports. Report directly to President/CEO.

EVP- Sales & Marketing

Accountable for company innovation initiative utilizing the Stage Gate process, measurement and related 10% revenue goal assigned to this initiative. Responsible for establishing and communicating Gold Eagle as the innovator within the Auto Chain, Mass, Grocery, Drug, Wholesale Club, Convenience Store, OEM, International and other consumer markets. Additionally, responsible for the management of premium CPG brand marketing, public relations, project management, market research, market analytics and product engineering. Member of Executive Team. Nine direct reports. Report directly to CEO.

EVP/ Chief Innovation Officer

Directly responsible for: global marketing, global sales, product management, product innovation and customer service. Managed, measured and directed all three business units (Retail/Installer, International and Private Brands/OEM) that make up entire sales organization. Utilized quantitative and qualitative market research to properly position, introduce and optimize brand revenues. Six direct reports and 23 indirect reports plus manufacture reps. Report directly to the President.

Responsible for sales and profits of this business unit. Developed top-level and cross-departmental key account contacts to secure and drive new business. Directed enhanced service levels to strategic customer that included EDI, EFT, product development and drop-ship logistics. Collaborated with supply chain and operations team to manage all production requirements. Customers include various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) of engine-related equipment like BMW, John Deere, Mercury Marine and Kawasaki. Three direct reports. Report to EVP of Sales and Marketing.

GM/ Director of Sales

Developed global programs across 14 different divisions to allow a “one-voice, one company” approach to selected key global companies. These programs include the strategic development of entire merchandising plans, manufacturing and logistics planning, forecasting and strategic account business planning. Collaborated with several countries throughout the world to educate them to the proper business model and approach to serve the Wholesale Club trade.

Global Channel Marketing Manager

Developed and implemented training for team of 75 U.S. and International sales people. Responsible for beginner thru advanced sales training. Developed training plan to drive complete computer literacy, needs assessment and transfer training. Participated and trained in regional and North American meetings. Marketing coordinator for Scotch® Brand specialty tapes. Created high-level sales presentations, category management reviews, and sales and marketing programs for key accounts in Wholesale Club, Mass, Drug, Grocery, Hardware and Variety Store trades. Coordinated the screening process of job applicants, which included pre-screening, interviewing and final recommendations.

National Sales Trainer

Responsible for optimizing sales and profits at headquarter locations with Costco Wholesale, Safeway, Pay N Save, Price Club (regional office), Drug Emporium, Longs Drugs, McKesson Wholesale and several assorted distributors. Managed grocery brokers and four territory “merchandisers”. Trained new territory sales representatives in basic territory management. Based in various sales territories including Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles
