I am a Communication Studies student at Cal Poly who is graduating in June 2015. From being the first of my friends to have a Facebook to having over 3,000 pins on my Pinterest, I have always been passionate about social media! 

I have gained extensive experience in the social media and marketing fields not only throughout my personal life, but throughout my college career. I am currently the Social Media Coordinator at TumbleRoot.com where I oversee and direct every aspect of social media for an eCommerce country lifestyle apparel brand. I manage multiple social media accounts while communicating marketing messages to thousands of people. I have also gained experience in community management by creating a social media ambassador program for TumbleRoot.com. This role has taught me how to effectively reach a target audience, gain followers, and increase sales for an eCommerce site. 

I was also the Marketing Chair for my sorority, Chi Omega, during my sophomore and junior years of college. As the Marketing Chair, I collaborated with graphic designers to create unique apparel for my chapter. I also initiated new marketing and social media tactics during my term as the Marketing Chair for the Cal Poly chapter of Chi Omega.

•	Post daily to Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram and other social media sites
•	Collaborate weekly with the graphic design team to create marketing campaigns
•	Maintain relationships with promotional contacts
•	Respond promptly to customer service inquiries on social media 
•	Engage in conversation with followers about the brand
•	Create effective follower growth and engagement strategies
•	Establish and reach KPI goals
•	Extensive experience using HootSuite and other social media management tools
•	Extensive experience understanding Google Analytics and other social media analytic tools
•	Led the creation of an interactive social media ambassador program
