Platform Analyst

As Platform Analyst, I am primarily responsible for facilitating and implementing technology solutions across the various technology platforms in the Consumer Sales & Marketing service areas.  This includes e-commerce, web properties, email marketing, and other interactive tools. I work with team members from our various strategic and operations groups, production teams, and the Director of Platform Technology Operations to ensure that our platform capabilities and operations are primed to achieve our business goals.

Create and manage business requirements for both functional and nonfunctional capabilities, working directly with end-users and strategic directors to understand business needs and goals.
Provide support and documentation for technical teams and processes, including system documentation and end-user guides.
Responsible for user acceptance testing for new features and software capabilities, ensuring that new development enables operational best practices and meets business requirements.
Participate in project planning, requirements gathering, and execution tasks in support of platform initiatives, working with cross-functional teams and driving toward key milestones to deliver new capabilities.
Analyze and identify solutions for operational issues and gaps, supporting and enhancing the day-to-day  operational model.

Managed over 30 webstores for artists on and off the WMG roster including Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, and Insound on the Magento platform.
Helped facilitate enhancements, improvements and bug fixes to the platform by working with stakeholders and developers to suggest and QA updates. 
Coordinated with label managers to execute marketing campaigns to drive traffic and increase revenue, including both individual artist campaigns as well as mutli-artist, multi-genre campaigns. 
Collaborated with UK based team to unify international, mulit-language, multi-currency campaigns. 
Worked with closely with customer service, email marketing, and label teams to improve our current practices and thus streamline our communication to fans.
Oversaw content migration from to an upgraded version of Magento, as well as 3,000 products from Insound’s previous platform to Magento.
Assisted with photo shoots of merchandise for the storefronts.

Senior Manager, E-Commerce Operations Services

Managed over 20 artist webstores on Atlantic Records label on the Magento Platform.
Configure and launch new music and merchandise products, sales and new webstores with an emphasis on pre-orders for new releases.
Provided reports on various webstore activities to stakeholders.
Communicated with merch, warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth fulfillment of orders.
Collaborated with analytics, email marketing, and development teams to analyze and improve reach to fans.

Manager, E-Commerce Operations Services

Managed content as well as ensured functionality on over 30 artists’ sites on the Drupal Gardens platform (formerly on Cisco Eos). 
Coordinated with digital marketers at Atlantic Records and Warner Brothers Records to gather and organize content for new artist website launches.
Moderated communities on artist websites to improve fan experience and filter user-generated content.
