I was born with a genuine thirst to create with my hands, mind and heart. My obsession is to compose work that has a deeper narrative than what meets the eye and my respect for the process of creating is deeply rooted. You could say that I'm more interested in how and why something was formed rather than the end result alone.

I made the decision early in life to let my dream of making the world a bit more beautiful than it already is guide my career path. It struck me that I made the right decision when I received several art scholarships from people willing to invest in my future. Even though I may no longer be in school, my craving to learn as much as possible about the realm of art/design has never stopped.

Fast forward to today and I find myself a skillful Graphic and Production Specialist with years of experience under my belt. My design background includes:

I was an integral part of a team that partnered with benefits firms to function as their “virtual” marketing department. I had a significant hand in the conceptualization, production and sending of over 230,000 emails to our sixteen clients’ suspects and prospects customized lists.

Responsibilities also included:
• Designing, producing and managing online forms and landing pages per clients’ specific needs
• Developing customized content for email marketing campaigns, educational webinars/
seminars and on-site industry events
• Developing brand identity and awareness through logo and digital design
• Communicating directly with clients for edits and approvals to ensure all work is not only
delivered on time, but exceeds their expectations for aesthetics and results
• Working with all aspects of a full cycle campaign that include a tailored marketing and
messaging strategy

Design and Production Specialist

While working for VIC Production, my responsibilities included the design and production of both digital and print advertisements for Nikon cameras. The advertisements were distributed and seen by consumers in over 90% of the United States marketplace.

Responsibilities included the design and production of:
• Newspaper Run of Press (ROP) Ads
• Point of Purchase (POP) Displays
• Free-Standing Inserts (FSI)
• Magazine Ads
• E-mail Blasts
• Web Banners
• Billboards

• Special Insert Blow-Ins

Additionally, I was tasked with large format UV print design and production for Visual Impact
Communications’ Printing & Signage division. 
Responsibilities included:
• Designing artwork for digital die cuts, custom POP displays, banners, decals, magnets, signs,
wall graphics, window clings, yard signs and menus
• Operation and maintenance of large format printers (HP SCITEX FB6100 and HP SCITEX LX850) and of a digital cutter/router (ZUND G3 L3200)
• Digital file management/prepress setup

Graphic and Production Artist

During my time at Southern Sports Supply and Screen Printing, I worked as a liason between
clients and the company to ensure a positive customer experience.

Other aspects of my duties involved:
• Conceptualizing, designing and editing digital artwork for t-shirts
• Client consultations regarding design, layout, edits, proofing and production timelines
• The shipping, receiving and management of screen printing equipment
• Prepress file setup and the maintenance of client files
• Production management, scheduling and monitoring of client orders
