Control Account Manager - Global Asset Management

Hello all, 

My name is Matthew Garcia currently I am a Control Account and Project Manager for Global Asset Management on the F-135 jet engine programs, through Pratt and Whitney. While I enjoy the company I am currently working for, I am looking for an opportunity to be involved in an emerging market that I love, and that is anything involved with or supporting action sports. 

Currently I manage over twenty control accounts, with a combined value exceeding $20,000,000. Having taken on this much responsibility in such a short time after graduation, has reassured myself of my work ethic that I would like to apply to something I could see myself doing for a lifetime.

-Manager of cost, schedule, and technical execution regarding the legal entities used as the importer and exporter of record related to all global asset movement concerning the F135. In addition to manager of Taxes, Tariffs, and Duties (TTD) incurred during asset movement among partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries. 

-Responsible for the technical execution of relocating in-country business manager in addition to reviewing and accepting or denying all costs incurred through the legal entity. 

-Prepared baseline deviation variance explanations on a monthly basis needed to support high-quality Earned Value (EV) management required by these compliance programs.

-Position required close coordination with key IPT (Integrated Product Team) members including the Program Management Office (PMO), Sustainment Leadership, Program Finance Services (PFS), Supply Chain Management (SCM), International Trade Compliance (ITC), and the customer in order successfully execute the contract requirements and maintain communication across the program.


-Manager of cost, schedule, and technical execution of over 73 control accounts with two subcontractors (United Technologies Aerospace Systems & Rolls Royce) exceeding a combined value of over $66,000,000. 

-Responsible for the subcontractor’s technical execution of support equipment, depot activation, maintenance services, and program management across all open Low Rate Initial Production and Performance Based Logistics contracts with the U.S. Government. 

-Prepared baseline deviation variance explanations on a monthly basis needed to support high-quality Earned Value (EV) management required by these compliance programs.

-Position required close coordination with key IPMT (Integrated Product Management Team) members including the Program Management Office (PMO), Sustainment Leadership, Program Finance Services, and the customer in order successfully execute the contract requirements and maintain communication across the program.


Control Account Manager - Subcontractor Management

-Control Account Analyst responsible for cost, schedule, and technical execution status for over 20 control accounts with a combined value exceeding $10,000,000. 

-Worked with Control Account Manager to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules with logic, task type, and resource alignment in compliance with ANSI 748.

-Responsible for planning and control account management including Quantitative Backup Data analysis, updates to task performance status, processing initial baseline plans, Estimate At Completion updates, and preparing for initial baseline reviews. 

Earned Value Management Analyst

-Prepared and analyzed portfolios in alignment with fundamental financial principles. 

-Responsible for fostering positive customer relationships to facilitate meetings and effectively manage client expectations. 

-Analyzed financial statements to identify risk profiles and improve performance. 


Research and Operations Assistant 

Winners is an off track betting venue that allows its customers to place bets on horse racing tracks all around the United States and world. 

-Worked as customer focal to explain wagering strategies in order to optimize value propositions. 
-Key holder responsible for closing venue and creating accurate closing reports that reflect the days sales figures.
