Serves as Quality Assurance Surveillance Specialist for contract administration and management of Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services contracts, basic ordering agreements, motor carrier performance and the Global POV contract.

Authorizing Official (AO) | 07/2019 - 11/2019

Authorizing Official (AO) who has the responsibility for the mission and the authority to obligate funds to support temporary duty travel for the mission. The AO authorizes only travel necessary to accomplish the mission of the Government. AOs are held financially liable for erroneous payments resulting from the negligent performance of their duties. Authorizing Officials have access to the travel authorizations and budgets associated with the travelers for which the AOs are responsible. AOs will review and approve or disapprove proposed trips based on trip data, estimated costs, the balance in the budgets, and exceptions to DoD travel policy. The Authorizing Official is responsible for the review and approval or disapproval of expenses outside the initial approved trip, exceptions to policy and input rationale if approved, the status of a specified travel authorization and financial accounting for a specified trip, final settlements prior to forwarding to DFAS.

Served as the 82nd Airborne Division Artillery Senior Transportation Coordinator; responsible for the planning, coordinating, and supervising of all strategic deployment and redeployment operations for 2,000 personnel and equipment. Also served as the Brigade DTS Agency Program Coordinator, ensuring Soldiers complied with Joint Travel Regulations, settled travel vouchers, maintained the Government Travel Card Program, and provided reports of delinquency for the Chain of Command. Systems used daily include: The Single Mobility System, Integrated Computerized Deployment System, Joint Operation Planning and Execution System, and TC-AIMS II, Defense Travel System. Held active DoD TS/SCI Clearance for 10 years.
