As the Director of Sales for Bare Fruit I was responsible over-seeing sales for the entire country, in the Produce class of trade, grocery, Natural/Specialty, convenience and food service in accounts such as
Whole Foods, Sprouts, and Vitamin Cottage. As the Director of Sales for Bare Fruit my duties included managing the broker network from east coast to west coast and hiring new brokers to help build the Bare Snack business in order to grow the top line. I also worked closely with the marketing department on new item development, and sales and marketing strategies. Also responsible for forecasting product based on sales due to the availability of the all-natural and organic apple harvest. Utilizing sales strategies, pricing models and marketing strategies I have been able to increase sales for the brand in the snack category and produce category to grow the Bare Fruit across the country and reposition the brand to gain exposure in major retailers such as Safeway, Kroger, Publix, Delhaize, Walmart and Costco.
