Apparel Buyer/Merchandiser

Marketing & Sales

Coordinate affordable fashion at a face paced environment, negotiate costs, ensure the product came in correctly according to what the company ordered, study open to buys and review sell through reports, resolve quality control issues, organize production samples, liaise with various departments, correspond with domestic and import vendors

•	Correspond with vendors to view Fall/Winter & Spring/Summer lines
•	Buying forecasting for apparel (men’s, women’s, & youth) per season
•	Facilitate inventory, manage stock and merchandising of the Golf Club Pro Shop 
•	Manage special orders for customers by corresponding with vendors 
•	Organize and execute trunk shows for members 
Plan monthly/season open-to-buy

•	Oversee the production process of over 275 styles at a given day 
•	Participate in product overview with CMO where styles are modified, approved, and dropped
•	Review color and quality with Buying and Design teams
•	Work closely with CMO and Founder of the company to review production status of each style I am responsible for
•	Correspond with domestic and overseas vendors to ensure the product is correct and on time  
•	Negotiate cost with the vendor
•	Attend fittings with internal Technical Design team and with vendors to ensure correct fit on garments
•	Organize production samples to prepare for Quality Control inspection before they are shipped out
•	Review QC issues with vendors in an open forum
•	Attend meetings with vendors to review samples and develop new styles
•	Review sell through reports and process price tickets
•	Liaise with various departments within the company including; Technical Design, Production, Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, E-commerce, etc.

Production Coordinator/Assistant Buyer

•	Managed and supported multiple accounts/ clients
•	Responsible for follow up with retention to insure orders are shipped/ delivered promptly
•	Entered orders and did administrative data entry

Customer Service Specialist

•	Provided assistance to the business/ production team that worked closely with companies such as; Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Barneys NY
•	Assisted with trunk shows and sample sales
•	Prepared and shipped orders
•	Worked on social media and marketing projects such as Instagram, Twitter, and Polyvore
•	Assisted with visual displays and photographed looks on models

Intern

•	Provided support to both Sales and Design teams
•	Cut patterns & fabric to keep database updated
•	Assisted with style sheets, spec sheets, order sheets, and priced cost sheets
•	Created and updated tech packs; experience with technical designing for flats
