I love the sports and outdoor industry - we are in the business of helping people get the most enjoyment out of their time outside. Due to its dynamic nature, my career in marketing is never boring and I feel fortunate to work/have worked for brands I'm genuinely passionate about. 

A summary of my previous and current roles is detailed below, so instead here are six things that make for a slightly more interesting overview. 

1. I'm always one workout away from a good mood - that might mean a three hour bike ride on the weekend or a 20 minute walk during lunch.

2. Checking my collaborative playlists on Spotify that I keep with friends and family is a highlight of my day.

3. I am very proud of my half-Canadian-by-marriage roots. One day, I plan to road trip through British Columbia and Alberta with a pit stop in Jasper National Park to visit our late black lab's namesake.

4. At Santa Clara University, my team and I made it to the D1 NCAA Final Four, the only unranked team to ever make it so far in the tournament. Since graduating college and hanging up my indoor volleyball shoes, I've run 14 half marathons, two 70.3 Half Ironmans, and one full distance Ironman (Whistler, 2017). 

5. I love taking photos - mostly on my iPhone but also on my GoPro when things get extreme! 

6. I'm a mother of two young boys who are a constant source of love, growth, humor, and adventure. Being a mother is the most important role you will find on my Linkedin page.

We are dedicated to providing effortless feminine clothing that actually fit real women while keeping us connected to the calm content feeling that inspires us at the beach. As a company born at the beach and endlessly inspired by the outdoors, taking care of the planet is close to our heart. 100% of our swim collection is made with sustainable fabric sourced from recycled plastic bottles. When it comes to apparel, we only use organic cotton, denim, and corduroy.

𝗠𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 | As the ecommerce and digital marketing leader at Carve Designs, it's my job to ensure an excellent online experience for both prospective customers and existing customers alike. I oversee strategy and execution of our overarching DTC strategy, including traffic to site, conversion rate optimization, revenue, and contribution margin. In my role, I lead internal team members as well as several external agencies to build and execute an exceptional online experience across site merchandising, promotions, SEO, email/SMS marketing, paid media, affiliate, direct email, consumer lifecycle marketing, and loyalty. While utilizing consumer data, I am responsible for defining and analyzing customer cohorts and insights to improve holistic growth strategy. I partner with our brand marketing team on digital content creation, always through the lens of continuous testing and learning. Finally, I work with our CEO and CFO to drive profitable growth within the DTC channel.

Digital Royalty: a digital marketing agency based in Las Vegas, Nevada that develops digital integration and social media strategies for corporate and entertainment brands, professional athletes, sports teams and leagues.

Some of my royal duties at dR included:
• Helped companies and personalities in the sports and entertainment space humanize their brands through social media and digital marketing. Some clients included Legendary Pictures, Trek Bicycles, Hilton Worldwide, the LPGA, and more. 
• Planned social media "stunts" to bridge the gap between the virtual world to the physical world such as fan phones, surprise twitter meet ups with professional athletes, and more
• Delivered in-person social media education seminars to groups of professional cyclists and golfers (up to 150 people in a single session)
• Designed, built, and optimized social ad buys of up to $250,000 on Facebook and Twitter.
