Senior Marketing Program Manager

Marketing & Sales

I am a former Division I field hockey player and enjoy all kinds of sports.   My background focuses on marketing and brand strategy, project management and partner/client relations.   While working at the Marine Corps, I partnered with our fitness team to develop a 5k running series, helped to create the Bootcamp Challenge and managed a large portion of the Miramar AirShow. At InvescoAim I worked in the sponsorship department and worked with professional sports teams in the Houston, TX area to promote our brand to a sports target market. I incorporated consistent messaging across a variety of media including; print magazines, digital, websites, social media sites and Facebook sites.

•	Determine, suggest and execute appropriate conferences for clients to expand their brand awareness and reach new markets through workshops, symposiums, consultant meetings, investigator meetings and advisory boards. Clients gain market insight for future product development and generate leads for future sales promotion. I also create budgets and work with all personnel & vendors to ensure logistics run smoothly and meeting goals are met, all while in compliance with industry regulations.
•	Manage 2 Emergencies in Medicine Conferences providing CME to EM professionals. Involved in every aspect of planning and execution of events including marketing & promotion, hotel/site planning, budget development & reconciliation, vendor selection & coordination, attendee management, accreditation, speaker management and grants & sponsorship.
•	Develop and launch new EIM Network that provides EM professionals with an interactive website and membership site. Create promotional slide deck targeting industry support as well as website framework to build out site navigation. Create and deploy email surveys targeting membership support and develop a strategic business plan to launch the entire project.

•	Research and develop new business opportunities and revenue streams by exploring and analyzing new market segments, fostering partnerships with complementary technology companies to enhance existing product lines and cultivate relationships with resellers/distributors to reach new customers and contacts. 
•	Develop and implement a marketing strategy to increase brand awareness thru a comprehensive campaign including, tradeshows, PR, marketing/sales materials, sales presentations, advertorials, email blasts, brochures and a complete re-design of the company website.
•	Maintain compliance with all guidelines and regulations for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) through the State Department, and communicate internally ongoing changes.

Sales & Marketing Manager

•	Developed and implemented an overall brand awareness strategy for the Elsevier Public Safety parent brand that targets customers, advertisers and subscribers. Also increased awareness among the many divisional/channel markets including EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement and Communication ensuring consistent messaging, positioning and integrity across all brands. 
•	Maintained consistent brand messaging across all marketing media campaigns including print, online, direct mail, email, social media (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn), conferences and partnerships to target subscribers, eNewsletter & website members, webcast registrants and Connect online users to increased revenue, customer loyalty & brand awareness.
•	As project manager, developed new process for promotional videos including creating, writing, directing, and filming magazine editors to promote various products and increase brand awareness. Also streamlined workflow as project manager for educational webcasts/webinars to ensure an efficient process incorporating staff & sponsors, while maximizing promotional opportunities.
•	Developed, budgeted and implemented annual marketing strategy plans for 2 national educational conferences with over $2 million in budgeted revenue and dozens of educational products.  Created and implemented comprehensive marketing plans including four-color brochures, print ads, direct mail, tradeshow booth space, conference ads, association outreach, email blasts, PR, telemarketing, web site ads, social media, podcasts, blogs, video promotions, mobile apps and webcasts/webinars.
•	Developed both marketing and operational strategies, for all products, by leading focus groups, conducting surveys and one-on-one interviews with key internal/external clientele at various events.  I analyzed the feedback to present new/additional strategies, for the marketing plan and to streamline logistics and operational issues, while maintaining and reevaluating budgeting.

Marketing Brand Manager

•	Created, developed, and implemented 100% growth in annual corporate sponsorship packages by soliciting new and current relationships. 
•	Doubled sponsorship assets from the previous year by combining all advertising & marketing elements of value to our customers, thus saving the Marine Corps over $150,000 annually as a senior player in a team environment.
•	Developed, fulfilled and became the creative force to increase marketing exposure to military personnel and secure sponsors’ brand recognition through event participation, advertising signage, magazine advertisements and brochure distribution. 
•	Developed, organized and enhanced over 50 special events (5k runs, health fairs, golf tournaments and the Bootcamp Challenge) with up to 500,000 participants, and a variety of promotions with detailed execution, creativity and enthusiasm.

Sponsorship Manager and Events

•	Hosted, negotiated and developed corporate sponsorship opportunities in the Houston area involving the Rockets, Astros, Comets Shell Houston Open and additional sports and entertainment venues.
•	Worked with National Advertising Company on print and television campaigns to provide additional exposure and ensure a consistent brand image.
•	Organized numerous events, which included sports outings, dinner & cocktail functions and large shareholder meetings to maintain and cultivate relationships with major partners and broker-dealers.
•	Developed, negotiated and purchased over 1,000 promotional products for AIM, INVESCO and AMVESCAP divisions ensuring a consistent corporate logo and brand identity.
•	Managed multi-million dollar money market mutual funds and maintained institutional bank clients, while providing excellent customer support, plus service in the form of problem resolution.

Sponsorships & Promotional Items/ Marketing

•	Coached the team with positive motivation, dedication, a strong work ethic and a focus on fundamentals and defense.
•	Achieved a Division I playoff appearance for the first time in school history.
