I just completed my graduate degree in Integrated Marketing communication.  While in the program I worked as a graduate teaching associate, teaching public speaking at the California State University, San Bernardino campus.  I taught in the day, when not working at Fontana Unified School District as their Communication Specialist. 

During my time at the university I have had several accomplishments such as making the Dean’s list, and being honored by the Lambda Pi Eta honor society. I received a letter from the Dean of Graduate studies, Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, inviting me to apply for the Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program which strives to help students already achieving academic success, on a guided fast track pursuit into the doctorate program.  My GPA for CSUSB is a 3.6, with a 3.9 GPA within my concentration of public relations, and a 3.7 GPA within my concentration of mass media.  I have striven to be actively involved at school, and have participated in many programs on campus.  I blogged for the Coyote Calling, a blog created by the Office of Public Affairs.  As a PRSSA member I helped plan, and also wrote articles for the communication magazine, that were presented at the end of the year Communication Banquet.  I have interned at Coyote Advertising, which gave me much more insight on how advertising agencies work.  I have also interned, and worked at Coyote Radio where I held the position of Social Media Director.



* Developed media and social media policies for the district.
* Developed and managed material to be used for District communication.
* Managed and monitored all social media and web content.
* Created press releases, news letters, and other forms of communication as needed.
* Created scripts, and advertisements for special events.
