Growing up in the Puget Sound, boating and spending a lot of time near the water and in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, exploring the woods behind our cabin and hitting the slopes on the weekends has allowed for me to understand the elements. This has also taught me what a quality piece clothing should be able to withstand and how it should be able to protect. A passion for clothing as well as the outdoors has driven me to pursue technical fashion design. As a female who loves wearing dresses and heels when I am not skiing and participating on other outdoor activities, makes me recognize the need for quality clothing that still look good.
