I am a graduate of the San Jose State University industrial design program. As a designer, I look at design problems holistically so that I have a full understanding of the problem at hand, which allows me to make sound decisions throughout my design process. I am happy and productive working in a team setting as well as independently. Design details are important to me, as is seeing projects fully realized without sacrificing quality in aesthetics, functionality, or human factors.

I was a member of the design consultancy team responsible for designing products for clients from all different backgrounds in industry. Depending on the clients' needs, our team met design deliverables throughout all phases of the design process. I mainly designed products in the consumer electronics and medical industries.

Industrial Design Intern

I was a member of the Bed & Bath, Home Restoration and Lighting product development teams for Pottery Barn. Our design teams held department meetings every week with Marketing, Sourcing and Engineering to discuss current and upcoming projects set to release the following year. I was responsible for hand sketching concepts, refined concept renderings, trend and market research, creating specifications for product samples, communicating with manufacturers, assembling incoming samples for review at product development meetings and on the showroom floor, and presenting my ideas to my team in a professional way.
