<p>I am a Design Director with over 20 years of sports license experience, with extensive work on fan and lifestyle products for both headwear/accessories and apparel. Sports and fashion are my passions and i&#39;ve been blessed to be able to turn what i love into my career. Outside of work i love to play sports, as long as there is some sort of competition happening, sign me up. I am also an avid collector, from sports cards and memorabilia to the Star Wars, GI Joe and Transformer toys that inspired me as a kid.</p><p>I have a Strong background in Adobe Illustrator &amp; Photoshop, product development, and headwear &amp; accessories design. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-stress, deadline driven environment with emphasis on details, accuracy, and follow through. Proven ability to work independently as well as within teams. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of management, including staff.</p>

Led the execution of the corporate product strategy from ideation through production which included; Trend and Color Forecasting, Fabric Development, Product Design, Prototyping, Product Presentation to the Executive Team, Leagues, and Key Accounts, Sales Sample creation, Selling Tools (Catalog and Digital B2B formats, League approval and Production Tech Packs. Managed a team of 9 including Design Managers, Designers, and Design Operations associates.

 • Exceeded revenue growth target for all on-field programs from 2015 – 2023. Programs included: 
         o MLB – Batting Practice Cap, all special events, and Locker Room Champions Caps.
         o NFL – Draft, Training Collection, Sideline Collection and Locker Room Champions Caps.
         o NBA – Draft, Rip Off Collection, Back Half Collection and Locker Room Champions Caps.
         o NASCAR – Official Driver Collection and Race Champions Caps.

Design Director, On-Field

Managed four Fan Gear seasonal product lines from product ideation through production with each product line consisting of over 100+ individual caps including men’s, women’s, kids, and knit beanies. Managed a team of 11 Designers.
	• Led a cross-functional team that re-designed the tech pack template to be more efficient  and uniform across all silhouettes.
	• Created a more streamlined process that connected women’s headwear and apparel from  ideation to product launch.
	• Designed all logo’s, branding, headwear and apparel for New Era Golf.
	• Led the design team in creation of “White Label” product for Walmart, Target, Ross, etc.

Design Manager, Fan Gear

Led the creative design of caps and apparel for Fan Gear, Lifestyle, and Key Accounts.
	• Designed 500+ new licensed cap designs for all seasonal booking programs and key account exclusives.
	• Designed 50+ unique New Era branded t-shirt graphics for seasonal apparel programs.
	• Led the creative for initial launch of entertainment licenses that included Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and Hanna-Barbera.

Lead Product Designer

Designed seasonal product for men’s Suburban Product lines.
	• Created artwork for 200+ teams across all leagues for each cap design, every season.
	• Created all sales tools for Seasonal Booking Programs.
	• Managed design relationships with over 30+ OEM accounts for the action sports division that included DC Shoes, Supreme, Stussy, A-Life, and others.
