Hi, I'm Mike. I am an Art Director and Designer with 8 years of creative experience, 6 of which I've spent in the outdoor industry. I have extensive experience in working in-house, building and revitalizing brands, and connecting to customers. I am a visual storyteller and an expert at wearing many hats including, illustrator, layout designer, photo direction, grip, video editor, and occasional guinea pig.

Develop, stylize, and direct product launches for the global bike brands All-City Cycles and Surly Bikes.

Develop product graphics/colorways while for multiple brands based on current color/style trends while maintaining the brands’ individual styles.

Supervise a multi-disciplinary in-house creative team and select/direct freelance illustrators and photographers to create beautiful designs for print, web, softgoods, packaging, and product graphics.

Managed creative for the brands 45NRTH, Teravil, and Whisky Parts Co. influencing design decisions in all stages of product development from product design to go-to-market commercialization.

Developed and managed a social media campaign that drove the Whisky Parts Co. Instagram following from 2k to 11k in a year with no paid promotions. 


Art Director

Created exceptional design and illustration work for print, web, social media, event spaces, softgoods, and product graphics. 

Worked on the ground-up development of brands from naming and identity design to vision and values development.


Graphic Designer

Designed logos, posters, print materials, websites for a variety of local and national clients.
