Senior Manager International Logistics at Vuori

Built the Vuori inbound logistics and offshore 3pl logistics team. Managed and controlled all inbound and international logistics, third party DCs, Customs compliance, and internal inventory movements.  Led the efficient movement of inventory assets and customer deliveries throughout the supply chain across multiple modes of transportation. Built infrastructure, procedures, and systems to manage costs and service levels to support a dynamic, flexible,  and cost-effective worldwide logistics network. Developed and maintained relationships, contracts, and spends associated with FG suppliers, internal freight movements, and deliveries. Collaborated closely with cross functional partners in Planning, Production, Sales, and Finance to meet service requirements for the company’s go to market initiatives.  Worked on special assignments to solve problems in our DC and Returns warehouse. Implemented strategies for capacity and shipping lanes to support the extreme expansion of the company and entrance to new global markets.  Established the global logistics network by launching three offshore 3pl DCs to serve wholesale and Vuori Retail footprints in 7 countries.

Senior Manager International Logistics

Utilized all modes of transportation to accomplish JIT delivery of components and finished goods. Operational Risk I Process Improvement Consultant

VP of Operations

Responsible for all aspects of the worldwide supply chain/distribution operation. Directed managers and team members in 4 distribution centers worldwide, monitoring stock movements and finished goods inventories on a daily basis.  Set and monitored all KPIs related to the supply chain to ensure that all productivity and budget targets are met or exceeded.  Directed Quality Assurance Team and Purchasing Team.  Negotiated vendor and freight contracts. Developed and implemented processes to increase efficiency of operations, including a multi-level kaizen team. Managed logistics for tradeshows in multiple international venues. Worked closely with multiple offshore factories, actively participating in production planning and fulfillment of raw materials and production orders.  Worked collectively with internal partners to assure optimization of operational costs, quality, safety, and service levels as related to providing a top-quality product to over 1500 wholesale and countless retail customers worldwide.

Director Global Supply Chain

Managed the launch of a new 100,000 square foot distribution center.  Organized and supervised move in, layout and set up of a large distribution center warehouse. Hired and directed a team of 25 to staff warehouse, determined bulk pallet racking and bin locations, worked with IT team to set warehouse locations in ERP system, developed metrics for operations and labor requirements, and developed inbound and outbound logistics schedules. Worked across multiple departments to ensure efficient and cost effective DC operations

Distribution Center Manager

Managed the placing and fulfilling of service parts requests orders for all West Coast Toyota Dealers. Scheduled shipments on a daily basis, forecasting delivery times and filing claims on damaged or missing shipments. Identified and resolved discrepancies in supply chain. Maintained a detailed logistics database as well as a materials recycling program. Worked closely with warehouse personnel and managers to fulfill requests and monitor inventory levels. 

				Member of Kaizen Team, which designed and implemented new warehouse racking systems, improved cross-dock staging areas, and developed more efficient processes.

LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE

Oversaw the calculation of load size, bills of lading, shipping bills, hazardous materials paperwork, and inbound shipment condition verification.  Scheduled inbound and outbound shipments. Documented damages.
