From 1980 to 1985 I raced in the United States and Europe for Husqvarna Motorcycle Company in National Enduros. My responsibilities other than racing, were ordering and stocking motorcycle parts and accessories. The following three years I managed a motorcycle race team for Carolina Tool & Equipment. Due to injuries, I retired from professional racing and moved back home to work in the field of shipping and warehouse management for the past 27 years. The last company I worked for, Baby's Dream Furniture, of 21 years, is in the process of going out of business which launched me into an early retirement. I've decided to try to obtain a job related to my true passion which is supporting the motorcycle and bike industry. No better place to do that than with selling and supporting the merchandise of Troy Lee Designs.
Even though I have been away from professional racing, I'm a SuperCross and MotorCross enthusiast. I attend south east GNCC races and have even held a couple of Hare Scrambles on my own farm here in Georgia. I have trails on my land that are open to whomever wishes to come and ride. So even though I've been away from the sport, my passion still exists. Matter of fact, I just raced in the Vintage-Inter-AM in Boise fashioning Troy Lee Designs racing gear. So what I'm trying to communicate is: I'm still involved, still passionate and would love to promote the sales of Troy Lee Designs in the South East region.
One last bit of information, I do enjoy Road biking as well as Mountain biking. I've participated in races and centuries throughout the past seven years. I am very familiar with bike clothing, accessories, bike shops, and races in the Georgia region. I hope you will consider me for an Independent Outside Sales Representative for your organization.
