I worked at BARREL ( Korean Sportswear company ) as an Apparel designer https://en.getbarrel.com I made a plan for new apparel products range and I also designed performance and lifestyle sportswear products especially for water sportswear line such as Rashguards. Board shorts, urban leggings, shorts, leggings, Sportsbra, training wear and technical neoprene surfing wetsuit. My roles at the work place. - Make a Performance & Lifestyle Sportswear Line plan seasonally and also Design the Performance & Lifestyle Sportswear. - Create a design concept, mood board and Colour Palettes for each design direction story and cut swatches, pantone reference and share with the wider team. - Proceed to concept and Apparel Design development. - Actively contribute amazing design ideas, Research fashion trends, color trends, technical fabrics & materials, etc. - Upload and organise designs onto Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and prepare overviews for key meetings. - Produce accurate Design and Tech packs. - Working with factories where are in Domestic ones and also overseas. - Select trims, materials, fabrics which need for apparel collection. Plus, Select Color of them. - Factory apparel samples Q.C ( Quality Check and Quality Confirm ) included SMS. - Garment tech fit management. Working collaboratively with the company technical team. taking clear note where required and action any design amendments. - Apparel Graphic design.
