As an ambitious professional and graduate from NC State’s College of Textiles, I have been striving to make a name for myself in the creative industries. I have an innate creative inquisitiveness that I first developed in my exploration of textile design, fashion design, and style. My ongoing natural interest in fashion and ability with computers, CAD design, and brand presence have led to various opportunities and experiences in the areas of branding, social media/digital communications, as well as textile, fashion and technical design. I have gained valuable, real-world experience in the textile industry both during my internships, previous and present job roles. My thirst for knowledge is only exceeded by my drive, work ethic, and creative spark and I welcome new challenges and opportunities alike.

Understand the competitive landscape and the company's customers including brands in the company's direct line of business and those that affect our product lines.
Responsible for meeting market demands while understanding trend, color, price points and functionalities that create desire for Burlington's products.
Assist in building product lines for different market segments.
Analyze the line based on number styles, number of SKUs, fabric, color-ways, price points and profitability targets for each category.



Collaborated with Design and Merchandising teams to determine fit and aesthetics.
Established and maintained fit and construction standards to ensure brand consistency and quality.
Prepared and leaded fit sessions with Design and Merchandising, discuss fit history when presenting current fit and recommend alternative methods of construction or options for components when necessary.
Resolved and communicated fit and construction issues to overseas factories within the development and production timelines.
Managed daily communication and follow through with the Merchandising and Design team.
Enhanced fit and quality through review of customer comments, competitive analysis, and conducting fit sessions.

Technical Designer

Collaborate with Design and Merchandising teams in researching,
designing and developing product by classification from concept
through execution into bulk production
Responsible for the creation of product silhouettes by efficiently
creating sketches proposed concepts and finalizing those concepts 
Manage the updating of fit sample measurements and grading changes in
tech packs and Master Data Files
Make appropriate recommendations in collaboration with crossfunctional
teams on matters pertaining to specs, pattern, construction
methods and techniques to improve fit, balance, and overall quality of
the garment
Design and maintain process for documenting the history of fit
evaluations, which has led to the increase of efficiency, visibility,
accountability and the establishment of Key Performance Indicators
Arrange performance reviews with Director of Operations to evaluate
supplier performance
