Developed, edited and disseminated core and collateral communications and public relations materials.
• Served as spokesperson at national conferences. Traveled extensively to arrange interviews for senior leaders and team members at local districts, Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Pentagon. At conferences, assisted team members in the formulation of well-developed and concisely answered responses to questions.
• Conducted market research in support of public outreach programs, acquisition opportunities and financial objectives. Through methodical research, developed several well-received products to increase the awareness of ongoing programs and communications tools to senior leaders, management and internal and external stakeholders while simultaneously increasing the value added to the organization.

Technical Writer

Responsible for supporting the development of public affairs initiatives for the Combat Readiness Support Team (CRST) in support to the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (OACSIM). Contributed to the publication of several documents, such as the Combat Readiness Support Newsletter and Strategic Communications Plan.
• Aided in the establishment of a public affairs network; supported this effort by coordinating communication efforts across multiple Army functional proponents, publishing articles in the Public Works Digest Magazine and utilizing and developing resourceful tools to enhance user satisfaction. Worked alongside Army Communication leaders to produce risk management plans and strategic initiatives to decrease communication gaps across the Army.

Engineering Technician

Aided in the establishment of a public affairs network; supported this effort by coordinating communication efforts across multiple Army functional proponents, publishing articles in the Public Works Digest Magazine and utilizing and developing resourceful tools to enhance user satisfaction. • Worked with the Public Affairs, Planning and Design Branches to develop databases and websites for individual projects which highlighted the project description, status, policies, standards, construction and operations plans, and anticipated dates of completion.
• Served as a researcher and analyst for the District’s Chief Public Affairs Officer in order to assist in the development of successful public affairs and communications plans to increase communication between USACE and project stakeholders. Utilized multi-media tools to develop public affairs plans, websites, brochures, fact sheets, press releases, and articles for publication.
• Worked closely with Project Managers to assist with the management of several projects, monitor funds with internal budget databases, and preparation presentations for Agency senior leaders.
