Natalia Gemma is a painter and textile designer who was born in Providence, Rhode Island. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2012, she went on to design for multiple fashion companies and art studios in Philadelphia and Southern California where she now freelances for various clients. She works in variety of media, depending on the day, her mood and the season but finds herself primarily using and experimenting with watercolors and gouache for recent projects. 
Natalia is constantly inspired, sometimes overwhelmingly so. She is fascinated with the simplicities in nature, innocence of animals and traditional patterns of cultural textiles around the world. Her love of travel and adventure often forces her to take painting breaks and escape into unknown forrests and seas where she feels most at home.
