Nathan Johnson: in Huntington Beach, CA

My duties in this position were split between what I would do as a member of the Street Team and while I was Merchandising. During my time on the Street Team, we would travel around the State of Michigan and sell tickets face to face to customers at various events and festivals. I gained marketing experience throughout this role, and developed a better understanding about providing excellent customer service to a diverse group of people. I was part of a team that would run promotions and explain or inform customers about new lottery products and practices. While I was a merchandiser, I filled in directly for sales reps all over the state. I ran a bi-weekly sales route where I would visit retailers and help grow their business through expanding their instant ticket display or rotating product that was not moving. I was also a liaison between store owners and lottery management, providing the only line of communication for their questions or concerns to be addressed.
