Director of Audio Visual Services, Pacific Palms Resort ProAV - 2013 - Present As director I am responsible for all sales of audio visual services as well as billing, labor management and client satisfaction. I was recently moved to this property in hopes of returning it to a profitable one. The previous director put no effort into his job and as a result the property has been hemorrhaging money. Since my arrival the property has been improving but there is still a lot to be done. Creating a new pricing structure and policies that are meant to benefit both parties have been put in place by me. The resort staff are very appreciative and welcoming to the changes. I welcome these challenges and thrive to bring this property back in to the black. Update; I am currently on track to triple last years revenue. As of May 2015 I have surpassed 2014’s annual revenue. Operations Manager, Riverside Convention Center ProAV - 2013 - Present I am currently employed and hold the title of Operations Manager at the Riverside Convention Center. My job responsibilities encompassed all aspects of the audio visual and event productions industry. As the operations manager I was the point of contact for all clientele, from sales to show design, I would see the events from concept to completion. The operations duties are general billing and equipment orders and sub-rentals either from our corporate office or outside vendors. I handle all the labor coordination and scheduling of our technicians. My strengths as the operations manager first and foremost are client relations. My number one priority is client satisfaction and going above and beyond to meet there needs. Secondly, creating a positive work environment for my fellow coworkers, having harmony amongst the team increases productivity and helps maintain healthy working relationships with clients and other property departments. I thoroughly enjoy this industry and all it entails.
