It is the ever present lab coat of the modern artist tirelessly perfecting techniques in every new genre and industry, mainstream or extraordinary. Rebranding of existing floor and tiling business for a refreshed modern look supporting a new business ownership. Branding included logos, promotional and marketing materials, production of print collaterals including decals, business cards, mugs and employee apparel.

Branding Consultant

Branding and typographic design for online marketing and promotion for a craft beer and brewery review community. Assembled promotional graphics used on stickers, buttons, embroidered hats and screen printed apparel. Boosted the social media structure of the brand using targeted ads, giveaways and interactive promotions.

Brand Marketing

Branding specialty kids-focused line of skateboards and apparel. Creative consultant for identity, logo, seasonal graphics, marketing materials launch, web assets graphics and icons. Developed printable graphics for boards, wheels, stickers, packaging, and apparel. Creative copy writing for brand retail market mission and guidelines including product titles, online media market campaigns and product materials specifications.

Brand identity and product line creation. Logos and marketing assets including typographic, graphic design, custom fonts and vector outputs for embroidery, C&C, print, laminates, signage, and hardware schematics for overseas production.

Constructed visual promotional logos and graphics for local summer music festival. Created festival market specific graphics for screen printed merchandise, flyers and event posters. Aligned festival production team with local printing resources. Festival gained traction throughout initial organization and raised funds necessary to continue to promote local talent and national music acts.

Product photography and promotional supports for Southern Illinois original vintner. Photography of vineyard, wine making, tasting events and seasonal products to be used for print, social media and online website.

Director of working studio and co-curation of monthly exhibitions of local artisans and artists worldwide. Provided a platform for local niche creatives to exhibit bodies of work and a network to function within the local art scene. Promoted local artists and collaborative exhibitions. Brand identity package including logos, marketing collaterals and business cards. Formed solid branding for local advertising specific to dental industry with a specialized focus on family oriented business strategies. Marketing visuals for adult and children demographics.


Produced a series of rural slice of life farm illustrations to promote the core values of FCSIL with specific AG related content for FCS employees, associates and customers. Promoted the 90th Anniversary within the context of illustration. Interfaced with CEO to utilize illustrations as retirement awards for board members and staff. Created a memorial retirement portrait for CEO.


Illustrator

Programming and Silk Screen Committee Member. Working instruction in silk screen department educating creative youth and public on techniques, textiles, and printing history. Ongoing support and donations with graphics, shows, and community events. Strong public relations increasing student body and public interest in commercial and fine art.

Silk Screen Printing Instructor

Developed monthly exhibitions and curation of local artists for theme-specific showcases. Assisted with the promotion of Greenwood Art Walk and boosted following and network of professional and upcoming visual artists. Bridged the gap between commercial artists, street artists, and fine artists with combined thematic shows in one venue. Managed coordination of live music, sponsors, and acted as artist liaison to the venue.

Gallery Curator

Providing illustration and design for Pacific NW lifestyle product manufacturer and marketing company PMI. Designed and conceptualized new private-label series for the Stanley brand Nineteen13 line of products. Executed young adult demographic driven, trend-forward product decor based line of one-handed water bottles, vacuum bottles and mugs.

Product Designer

Providing illustration and design for Projectline Services, IO University, software giant Microsoft. Created graphics, fonts, and marketing materials for IO Core promotions. Creative lead with Cadence Preferred to implement futuristic graphics for laptop skins and fonts for embroidered apparel. Collaboration with IO creative team to create marketing initiatives that achieve successful product launch and customer engagement.

Providing illustration and designs for highly recognized advertising and marketing services agency that connects brands with young adult audiences through traditional advertising and emerging technology media. Worked with such accounts as Black Sheep Studios, Little Green People, and The New Sea-Monkeys.

Implemented technical courses and curriculum to provide a platform for students to experiment and interpret visual communication and processes. Provided illustration media instruction, the fundamentals of perspective, anatomy, traditional media, art history, commercial art, research and informative critiques. Sculpture and non- traditional instruction, the use of unconventional techniques, supports and media demonstrations emphasizing form, value, color and space.
