Under the direction of marketing executives and various merchandising staff, I am fully responsible for creating and implementing new design concepts that pull new demographics into our retail environment, including the female homeowner. This includes print advertising campaigns, such as a monthly full color 32-page catalog and various full color mailers, uniquely designed to satisfy both the northern and southern California and Arizona markets.

On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings in Escondido, I offer a mixed-level course covering many different styles of Middle Eastern Dance, known widely as bellydancing. Classes will generally include a low impact warmup, breakdowns of isolations, traveling steps, combinations, and choreography, various drills and a relaxing cool down. The class is intended to allow students to gain a greater understanding of Middle Eastern dance, the culture that surrounds it, as well as discover a new and enjoyable way to exercise.

Designed high quality print materials for a wide variety of clients, including hospitality and biotechnology. Preflighted client and in-house files, checked for technical problems, setup impositions for press. Consistently worked within tight budgetary guidelines. Managed and applied technical aspects of printing, including process vs. spot, diestrikes, creating press plates, etc.

Execute design and layout for monthly business publication under strict deadlines. Design a wide variety of publication advertisements under direction of ad sales team.

Assist with day-to-day operations and project tracking at a large print/mail service bureau. Handled execution & quality control of weekly payroll for Regal Cinemas, Trader Joe’s and Petco Stores.
