Mission
Design and build the best camping gear for free spirited people, be mindful of our environment, be open to others, use our company to inspire people to connect and explore.

Our Reason for Being
We believe our roots and energy are in nature. We want to help you feel free and experience this amazing feeling that is waking up in the middle of nature.
Inspired by Patagonia, we don't want to do business at any cost. Our products are designed to minimize waste, use renewable materials and preserve production environment. We also want our customers to not require to drive an over-sized vehicle just for the purpose of going camping.

Community
How many of us own a piece of equipment that is only used 2 or 3 times a year? We are creating a community so owners can share their DROPLET, making an extra income and limiting the impact of our manufacturing.
 
Contribution
?We want to make camping accessible and more affordable. Following the footsteps of some land owners in New Zealand, we are committed to dedicating 10% of our benefits to buying land in Canada and USA. These properties will be transformed into free campgrounds for self contained campers.

Droplet started as a personal project to design and build a modern teardrop trailer. My role is:
* Design
* Create BOM for future production
* Source and negotiate material, source production partners
* Write work instructions
* Create marketing strategy
* Promote brand and sales 
* Manage website

Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of production, scheduling, shipping, logistic departments.

Plan effective strategies for the financial well being of the company. Create KPI tracking system. Analyse productivity, on time delivery, NCP and implement improvement programs. Ensure quality of products. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. 

Improve processes using Lean Manufacturing tools. Formulate and implement policies and procedures to maximize output. Organize plant layout for efficiency. Monitor adherence to rules and procedures. Introduce sustainable Lean concepts. Put in place a 5S and Kanban system. Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery. Ensure safety procedures and policies.

Plan the use of human resources. Organize recruitment and placement of required staff. Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance.

Manufacturing engineer

Improve electric cleaners for worldwide markets. Evaluate failure sources, find and sample marketable solutions. Design on Solidworks, calculate on Cosmos, simulate on Moldflow, manage technical assistants, organize BOM and ensure quality development process.

Product improvement engineer

Business management, project management, design.
Design and organize production of NEXT and GENETRIX inflatable kites (3 ranges, 12 models) and associated products. Wind tunnel researches, CAD design (Rhino3D, solidworks), CAD drawings (Autocad2000), field tests, sampling in China.
Creation of AIR-MADE, stand alone inflatable structures. Design, prototyping and production.

Business associate and technical director

Designed and manufactured custom composite parts for performance sailboats.
Mast, dagger boards, compass supports, rudders, ....
Worked with vaacum formed Pre-preg Carbon fiber along with standard glass and epoxy resins.
