Youth Development Teacher/Camp Leader

I am a Youth Development Teacher for the Dan McKinley YMCA with interest of expanding my interpersonal skills into the marketing industry as to further build upon my knowledge of research, my entrepreneurial spirit, and grow with a company based in the San Diego community. With interests in digital marketing, social media, and public relations, along with utilizing my Bachelors of Science in Foods & Nutrition (set to graduate in May 2019), I have developed a skill-set that is unique to my community as I am analytical, yet communication-savvy in my tactics for community and company development; notable experiences includes affiliations with non-profits such as project development with the American Red Cross WIC in 2018 as I was a co-creator of the Achieve Program now utilized at the Spring Valley, San Diego WIC Center with interest to expand in coming years. 

Passions includes cultural immersion through traveling with goals to travel to one new country per year, recipe development with a blog in the works, self-growth development with late night binge watching of rom-coms and cheap face masks, indulging in music through every local show and festival far and near with my family and friends, along with exploring every beautiful beach of the San Diego county (personal favorite: San Elijo).

Lead youth children ages 5-8 in program based upon science and art led activities, community based youth
games as to help assist in developing interpersonal community skills, and in healthy snacks for healthy, optimal nutritional development.
? Plan and execute snack meal plans for children based on budget of $0.50/per serving.
? Coach and assist future Youth Development Teachers as to how to lead youth groups.
? CPR/First Aid Certifications obtained.

Develop children's nutritional protocol for twenty six week Achieve Wellness WIC Foundation Program
located in Spring Valley, CA.
? Train and mentor other education interns as to how to lead nutrition games for ages 0-8.
? Communicate with American Red Cross WIC Foundation parents and youth.
? Lead activities for young children on Tuesdays & Saturdays

Education Assistant

? Lead San Diego State University teams as to develop protocol to fundraise for Relay for Life.
? Facilitate set-up, tear-down, and environment as the 24-hr fundraiser took place.
? Ensure fundraising protocol was met by several different teams.

? Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests.
? Fold & set up fashion according to room expectation set-up.
